Nimbuzz wins Best Mobile Startup
The Nimbuzz team skipped back into the office with the exciting news that Nimbuzz has been recognized as best mobile startup in its category winning at Mobile 2.0 Europe in Barcelona. This event is well known within the mobile industry; it was originally started in San Francisco, the technology innovation home, but has now put on its first European conference to recognize the wealth of talent emerging here in Europe.
It brought together experts from all areas of the mobile ecosystem from startups to investors, operators, application developers and handset manufacturers in a necessary but sometimes heated debate. The various presentations and discussions covered mobile social media, VCs & mobile, operators and open business models and led to open discussions which we at Nimbuzz are sure will help with our mission to work with operators, social networks and IM communities to connect these networks with all their features in one place.
We won over this prestigious audience by presenting in the Post series A (funding) category including a video demo by our very own King and Tobias which is worth a look here.
