To add Nimbuzz click “Add Apps” in the left sidebar on Orkut, and search for “Nimbuzz”.

Make sure you installed Nimbuzz Mobile or Nimbuzz PC, and your friends can call, chat and message you directly on your mobile phone or computer.They can also send you voice messages, photos, music and videos – for free!

@NAQAASH to make free calls to your IM buddies you have to be online on PC or Mobile and follow the steps:
Select an IM buddy from your contact list (Skype, MSN, Gtalk, and Nimbuzz) and choose the Call option.
Remember that if you are abroad you should check with your internet provider if the data transfer is included on your monthly package or you have to pay that aside.
If you are using a SIP account and you want to check your balance you have to check with your SIP provider, since we do not offer that option yet.

To make a call to an IM contact:
-select the contact you want to call and press the Green button on the right
-if the call button is not enabled (green), your buddy can not receive calls
-we support the call feature for Nimbuzz, Windows Live (MSN), Google Talk and Yahoo
If you want to call to landlines or mobile numbers you will have to use your SIP account.
You can go to Options > Settings > SIP Accounts to register an account.
After that you can place VoIP calls via the Phonebook.

Calling is supported on the Nimbuzz Mobile version for Symbian, Android, iPhone and Desktop.
Not on Java or BlackBerry.

Calling on Nimbuzz via your Symbian device is possible, however if you want to call to a device that uses a Java version of Nimbuzz, this won’t be possible, since the Java version cannot receive or place calls.

I use Nokia 5230. Got Nimbuzz installed last nite. I could make a call this morning using gtalk on Nimbuzz (but the receiver could not hear me) and some time later the call option was no more available. Please help me out. I installed the application only with the intension to make calls.

In regards of the calling feature disappearing, this could depend on the client your contact is logged in, he might not be able to receive calls.

iwas trying to call from my PC to an IM contact when both were online..the call was ringing on both sides but nothning could be heard once it was accepted..why could this be..

I m using it on my cell through Tata Docomo internet accesspoint.
Whenever i place a call it(nim) shows
“Voip audio traffic may be blocked by your current internet connection.still want to place call”.

Is there the problm from ISP side or what.

I think there is just one Micromax model with Android OS the A60.
Check on the Micromax site if there are more models with that OS.

yes when i call to a nimbuzz contact and also via SIP calling too…it’s an unlimited data plan and the network provider is vodafone IT..i’m in Italy

Your device is using a Java version of Nimbuzz which does not include the calling feature.

If you face issues while placing a SIP call,since we do not proxy SIP Voice Streams, which means that Nimbuzz just connects you to the SIP servers and the audio and voice portion of the call, is managed by your SIP provider.

For assistance on this issue please contact your SIP Support Team and let them know.

To make a call:

Select an IM buddy from your contact list (Yahoo, MSN, Gtalk, and Nimbuzz) and choose the Call option.

Nimbuzz will connect you to your IM buddy instantly and for free.

To call to phone numbers you will require a SIP account or NimbuzzOut credist.

Nimbuzz version for iPhone does support calling, note that you can call other Nimbuzz contacts who are using a Nimbuzz version that can receive calls as well.
We do not support calling on Java based devices.

You cannot check third party SIP accounts balance directly on Nimbuzz, we recommend you either go to your SIP provider’s website or contact them directly.

We do not support calling on BlackBerry devices.
If you own a BB device you cannot receive neither make calls via Nimbuzz.

i am using sony ericsson vivaz(U5) phone and its is developed by symbian s60 5th edition…. I can chat with my im contacts.. But i cant make calls with them. A call button is there, but it is not enabled.. Can u help me ?? How can i make the call button enabled ??

We do not support calling on Non Nokia Symbian devices like yours.
For the calling feature we do use a Nokia library which is missing in your device, hence we do not provide this feature.

Hi, I am having dellxcd28 and I am in KSA I had installed Nimbuzz in my mobile and did SIP settings for ActionVoipPlus it got connected but when I try to call to any mobile no’s in India it show just connecting and I am not able to talk. Please advise me what to do to make calls to other mobiles in India using dellxcd28 as I am newbie and dont know much about SIP and other terms.

@Sri – Can you please check the device your friend is using? Calling is only support on Symbian, Android, iphone and PC. We currently do not support calling on Java and Blackeberry device.

I was able to make free calls to Nimbuzz contacts. but now I can see that call option is disabled .

@mujtaba – Please ensure the contact you are calling is using a device which is compatible for calling on Nimbuzz i.e. Symbian, Android, iphone or PC. In case the other contact is on Java, Blackberry or Windows Phone the call icon will show as disabled. Thanks!!

@praveen – The mentioned error message is sent by your service operator which indicates that you might have connectivity issue while placing a call. However, you can still make a call or proceed. Unfortunately, there is nothing much we can do about this.
