In the last few weeks we had a lot of comments on the blog requesting the Nimbuzz application for Nokia 5800 and some of you were so enthusiastic about it that they left 3 or 4 comments :D! Thanks ! You asked, we listened, and your patience is much appreciated.

  3. Dammit :(… No luck installing as well. No error messages – installation just doesn’t start. I double tap on Nimbuzz.sisx in File Explorer, installation message is shown (Nimbuzz Version 2.0 etc.), I then tap “OK” (or “Continue”, don’t remember) – the window disappears… and nothing.

  5. I have the original Nokia 5800 sold in Russia. And I even had no chance to choose whether to use internal memory or storage card – nothing happens after I tap “OK” on the installation welcome screen. Upon running Nimbuzz.sisx I only see a welcome screen (a popup in the screen bottom) with version information (2.0), link to certificate details and some more text lines. “OK” makes this popup disappear – and then nothing, no errors, no confirmations, nothing.

  7. 5800 version works great on skype. But when connected to Windows live messenger, I am unable to call contact and when i send a chat message to my contact the lag is long before he receive my message. Is it possible to allow sending a bigger file? The current file size seem small. Please advise.

  9. Installed without any problem (on phone memory). Tried just one VOIP call and it seems to work fine. Thank you for your effort, Nokia 5800 is a great phone…it could not miss this great app!!

    This issue is related to the Windows Live Messenger gateway, not the 5800 version itself.
    We are aware that if you try to call an MSN contact which is using Windows Live Messenger 2009 the call gets connected and ends in a few seconds. Our team is already working on that and we expect it to be solved soon.

  11. SIP will not work at all. I have connected to my voipbuster account and also a localphone account.

    Both will add ok and say connected. I am unable to make calls at all – just says ‘setting up call to….’ and hangs there.

    My incoming number will connect via SIP to Nimbuzz. However…after it’s connected there is no sound at all.

    Anybody else having these issues?

  12. Does not work on my 5800 NAM. Can only install to phone memory but not memory card. After installed, icon looks weird and program not open at all.
    I am sure 5800 NAM firmware is the main issue. Can someone confirm that?

  21. I confirm what Cyberdevil1980 says… The problem seems to be the VoIpAudioSrv v2.0. It is unable to install also on Fring 3.37.20.
    P.S.: Fring used to work OK when it used VoIPAudioSrv v1.00

    We are aware of some issues related to the SIP gateways, if you are experiencing audio problems, the call is dropped, the voice is low, sound is chopped etc…
    Please contact your SIP Support Team and let them know
    We do not proxy SIP Voice Streams, which means that Nimbuzz just connect s you to the Sip server and the audio and voice connection is managed by your SIP provider.

  26. Trying to set up other SIP providers (pennytel and MyNetFone). It registers for both but will not connect when trying to make a call. Just silence…and says “setting up call to 612XXXXXXXX”. No dial tone or air hiss as well! MSN chat works fine!

  30. Thank you sir, now the sip calls are getting connected but the voice quality is very poore. comparing to the previous versions the sound quality is not even 50% good. We are getting better sound quality fring i think.

  31. Installed Nimbuzz, should admit, its so wonderfull, thank you guys, but i have few issues, voice calls to gtalk doesnt have any audio, and sip calls too has no audio. in both the cases, calls are getting connected, but cant hear anything @ both the ends

    If I try to install to phone memory I get “unable to install” message. If I try to install to memory card I get “update error” message. Problem is I had it working fine until I did a reset of my phone to free up memory. Please help! I want it back – it’s a great application! Thanks!

    We are glad to hear that the SIP gateway works fine for you, unfortunately there is not much we can do about the Echo, We do not proxy SIP Voice Streams, which means that Nimbuzz just connect s you to the Sip server and the audio and voice connection is managed by your SIP provider.
    We recommend you to check directly with Pennyntel Support.

    On your phone go to MENU- TOOLS – APPLICATION MANAGER. Check your setting by going to OPTIONS – SETTINGS and your will see Software Certification, set this to ALL if it isn’t already set. And if you also see the option ONLINE CERT CHECK set it to off.

    Now make sure your phone date is correct. Since the latest Nimbuzz version was released about a week ago if your phone date is earlier or later you will get a certification error.

  36. I had Fring on my memory card so I uninstalled it, but still get the same errors mentioned above:

    Try to install on the card: “Update Error”.

    Try to install on the phone: “Unable to Install”.

    At a dead end now. Seems to be related to the VoIP install. Any fix yet?

    To make a call:

    Select an IM buddy from your contact list (Skype, MSN, Gtalk, and Nimbuzz) and choose the Call option.

    The Internet Call option will connect you to your IM buddy instantly and for free.

    The Local Dial-In option will call a local fixed line number and connect you to your IM buddy.

    The costs apllied will depend on your service provider.

  41. This is the way to avoid the “Unable to install” and “Update Error” during the VoIPAudioSrv v2.0 on the Nokia: 5800 XM: Choose “Offline” as the active profile.
    After that, try installing again the app again. After the installation you can change back to your usual profile.

  43. Jane: save the installer on the memory card. Put offline mode. Turn off your phone. Turn on your phone. It will ask if you want to continue using your phone in offline mode, choose yes. Go to the File explorer and try installing Nimbuzz again… Please tell me if it works… This is very close to what I had to finally be able to install it. If it does not works, perform a full reset after a full backup with Nokia PC Suite (you will lose all your personal data), using the code *#7370#.

  45. ok guys, I have fring installed to my memory car, and when I tried to install nimbuzz there it would not install, gave me a “corrupted file” error. Well I tried to install nimbuzz to my phone memory and now I got a “update error” I guess I could try and uninstall fring, install nimbuzz to the phone memory and see if fring will install to the memory card. I never heard back from you guys after our last bit of contact here and via twitter and email.

    here are some comments:
    1 – dont really know if thats possible, but it would be great to be able to see on the home screen weather u have a new chat message waiting, as nimbuzz is running on t background and not always one hears t notifications. is that any possible?

    2 – could not find more info on t twitter integration… i know when u update ur personal msg on t profile it is also published on twitter, but how about following people’s updates… is that possible?

    In live messenger when both contact is online, I find a lag when I send a message to my contact. But there is no lag when he send it to me. Why is it so? How to resolve this? When eith contact is “Appear offline”, no matter my contact or me send a message, we receive nothing. How do we get this resolve? Anyany I have skype and live messenger signed in. How do i sign out from live mesenger while staying sign in in skype?

    Same problem, can only install on mem card, update error when trying on phone mem, did reset, uninstall fring, no luck till now.

    When installed on mem card, calls out fine with skype and sip providers, but there is no voice, both parties cannot hear one another.

    I can see that some users were able to use it and they are happy, what is the secret here, I would like to have it because the feed back regarding the voice quality as some say is higher.

  53. Great program! I absolutely _love_ it. The quality of the Skype call is superb! The only difference with the native PC client is a bit more retard, but I guess it is inavoidable due to conversion.

    In regards of the Offline Messaging, it is only possible to send messages if you are offline and your Windows Live Messenger buddy as appear offline, but not the other way around.

  57. Thanks for your reply, I always can install on the mem card with no trouble whatsoever, but still there is no voice, the calls get conected to all my IM contacts, but we cannot hear one another.

    Regarding the SIP provider I have is POIVY, it cannot be the problem becasue it works fine with FRING.

    Like I said earlier I am keen on trying Nimbuzz beacsue they say the sound quality is better than Fring, unfortunately, Nimbuzz installs and doesnt give voice, and never installs on the phone mem.

    I have a 5800 with latest greatest FW which I recently updated.

    Only problem with this is that I cannot call with MSN to and MSN contact. I have yet to try this on my N82 and 6220 if it actually installs.

    Thanks for the feedback, In regards of the Windows Live Messenger calling, we are aware that there is an issue when you try to call contacts that are using the Windows Live Messenger 2009 version.
    If your contcats are using a previous version the call can be placed.

Whenever any of us the users say that the calls get connected but there is no voice, admin says: “We do not proxy SIP Voice Streams, which means that Nimbuzz just connect s you to the Sip server and the audio and voice connection is managed by your SIP provider”, as if there is voice with other IM services, admin, please we get no voice with neither MSN, Gtalk, Skype as well as SIP. So please find a solution.

    SIP calling and IM calling work internally in a different way.
    We do not proxy SIP Voice Streams,which means that we do not connect directly the sound, the sound and voice connection is handeled by your SIP provider. We just connect you with them.
    If you have problems with MSN or Yahoo calling let us know, we do connect you dircetly in this case.

We just connect you with them”, I still have problems calling through MSN and Yahoo and Gtalk, and if you do not allow voice through from SIP providers, why include that in the application? Fringe allows all the above.

    I have a problem to connect it through WAP service. I have LoopMobile (India)-WAP connection, whenever I am trying to open the Nimbuzz application, it asks me to select the access point. There are no any other options while connection process. So please suggest the solution.

Been using the nimbuzz on t 5800 and it works very well. now, im trying now to set up the widget communicator on my blog, so that people can use the “buzz” to open nimbuzz on my phone, but this function does not work… is this a known issue? i have set up my phone to allow people to buzz me… am i missing something?

  75. regarding the unable to install error…you can do a hard reset. By pressing green+red+camera button while powering up until the shaking hands. default phone code is 12345 all data will be gone though so remember to back up first.

  79. I have a problem with the new version (2.0.0 rev1356) on Nokia 5800 (v21 firmware): I cannot switch tabs (user list, chat, phone) by touching the tabs icon on the top row. As a consequence, when somebody sends me a message, I cannot switch to the chat window to see the message.
    The only way to access the chat window is to click on a user (in the buddy list) and click the chat button in the lower row. But I have noway to know who send me the message, so I have to find it out by trial-and-error.
    This bug wasn’t there in the previous Nimbuzz version (back then I had v20 firmware, so it could be due to either Nimbuzz or the firmware upgrade).

  83. The (annoying) installation problem is obviously with the installer, all the installer needs to do is check for any dependancies (voipaudiosrv) and ignore them if already installed.

    – from what little I’ve gleaned from symbian development in the past couple of weeks it may not be that easy.

  85. Seems to work. But have problems with incoming SIP calls. They don’t come trough, caller get’s a message that the number is not available. Outgoing call works fine??

    Put the same account in Fring an incomming SIP works fine??

  86. @Neel Not all providers allow applications to open a socket connection to the internet. Please try asking your provider if ithey can have alternative access point settings that allow you to open socket connections.

    However you should be able to connect via wi-fi if you have it available.

  90. I transferred all of my yahoo contacts over but recently another mystery contact has appeared and since then despite repeated deleting they keep appearing and all of my contacts disappear from my phone ( but not my PC). If I then reinstate all yahoo contacts only the mystery one appears.

    On your phone go to MENU- TOOLS – APPLICATION MANAGER. Check your setting by going to OPTIONS – SETTINGS and your will see Software Certification, set this to ALL if it isn’t already set. And if you also see the option ONLINE CERT CHECK set it to off.

    Now make sure your phone date is correct. As the latest Nimbuzz was released about 2-3 weeks ago if your phone date is earlier then 3weeks ago you will get a certification error telling you to check your phone date.

    So just be sure your phone date is correct and that you downloaded the most recent version of Nimbuzz.

    The SIP provider I’m using is Budgetphone it’s a dutch provider. Incomeing local nummer, works fine with my Linksys Local gatewy and when I use the account in Fring.
    No problems makin a call, incomming does’nt work…

    If someone retrieves your location he will see your approximate location(not your ip address)

    Offline chat does not work for msn. When i’m appearing offline and the person i’m chatting to is also appearing offline, both of us receive no message. The offline message work intermittently when either one party is online with a lag of 30sec to 1 min in receiving message.

    Just to check. When my friend send me some message when i’m offline (i.e not connected to the msn network), i am able to receive these message when i come online with msn and ebuddy. But when I tried it with nimbuzz these message is lose. Please advise.

  113. Thanks very much, I’ve got it working now (version 2.00(2). I’m getting wierd errors regarding WiFi – whenever I run nimbuzz the phone refuses to make WiFi connections until i exit nimbuzz and make a WiFi connection manually through nokia’s WLAN wizard.

    Any help would be appreciated as this is very annoying – it started when i first ran nimbuzz, so it’s not a firmware/phone configuration issue.

    P.S. Any chance of getting skype supported in the windows version?

  117. I think it may actually be a v21 quirk as it’s only email that does it, before and after nimbuzz starts. I’ve added a data allowance to my phone package and set the email client to use that – which is a fairly simple workaround, now it’s just pot luck whether or not the email client crashes.

    Regarding the software – a1***, thanks for such a superb messaging tool. Although an auto start feature and being able to set the app as a system process (doesn’t get killed on low memory conditions) would be appreciated.

  120. To help you out a bit it’s a vodafone UK 5800xm (product code 0577089) which has been updated from v20-v21 via Nokia software updater. I think it is down to vodafone’s update as several other features of the phone don’t work, even after a full hard reset (red-green-camera-power reset).

    I’ll post something in the nokia support forums to see if that’ll shed some light.

    I just downloaded the app. Had troubles installing it (update error when trying to install the voipaudiosrv) I did as someone suggested here and put the phone in offline mode and the install worked fine. I was able to register and sign in to my networks.

    I’m using automatic wifi to connect to my wifi.
    When nimbuzz is connected to my wifi then I can’t connect with any other app. I get connection not available messages.

    Also in nimbuzz at my contact list I can scroll down easily but can’t scroll back up.

  128. I have a problem during installation Nimbuzz on Nokia 5800 RM 428 (Movistar Argentina) when VOIP engine starts installing.

    The installation aborts and a message “imposible instalar” or “unable to install” while trying to install VOIP engine, both on memory card and phone memory.

    I had installed the program and it worked great until it disappeared from the applications folder, though when I tried to reinstall it, the errors came up.

    Perhaps the previous installation left a trace in a kind of register or alike that prevents a new installation from being successful, as red said about a month ago.

    Please help, I would appreciate it very much.

  129. @jose.astengo The only fix I can think of is to hard reset the phone, unfortunately you’ll lose any data that isn’t backed up (do a full backup first, be warned: you may lose some apps you’ve paid for). This isn’t a fault of nimbuzz, more a fault of voipaudiosrv, which (I believe) has problems with it’s installer.

    The new version 2.0.3 rev 1545 is not working as well as the previous version.

    1. When I login into Live messenger, it take 2.5 minutes before my contact see me as online though i’m online all the while in nimbuzz.

    2. When I am appearing online and send a message to my contact, there is again a lag. Somethimes, message sent was not received by my contact. This lag goes away after sending and receiving 3 – 4 message from my contact.

    3. Live messenger Offline messenging is totally not working. All message send to me and messenge I send out was never received or sent when I am appearing offline.

    4. When I use Nimbuzz in Skype, it does not chow my buddy is online although he is online. When I try to call him, I am able to establish a call.

    5. When I use Nimbuzz in Skype,although i am online, by my contact see me as offline. It see me as offline even after 30 mins.

    About your Skype: the presence issue you are having with Skype on Nimbuzz also happens when you use the real Skype client because the Skype presence is delayed in some situations. This is a Skype behavior, Nimbuzz cannot overwrite it.

    But I installed it again WHILE RUNNING fring in my 5800. Perhaps that’s the reason the instalation did not abort while installing VOIP engine.

  135. Let me explain. I installed Nimbuzz just when I got my 5800. It worked great, so great that it ran out of battery while talking through Skype via Nimbuzz. When I turned the phone back on I could not find Nimbuzz in my phone any more. The same happened with Garmin Mobile XT 5.00.50. When I tried to reinstall Nimbuzz I got the error that I have seen frequently in many posts here: “unable to install” or “system error”, while installing VOIP engine.
    I tried all the methods listed in the blog but hard reset with no success at all.
    Finally by chance I tried to install Nimbuzz again WHILE running fring, and… IT WORKED.
    Try it and let me know !

    I downloaded, installed and configured Fring (another application for 5800). I used it but Nimbuzz is far better. So while I was running Fring I tried to reinstall Nimbuzz (that had been aborting all the time), and I SUCCEEDED! Then, I uninstalled Fring and wnjoy Nimbuzz up to now.

    Please tell me if it worked out for you the same way.

    The only way to remove Nimbuzz is to uninstall it.
    When installing Nimbuzz,it verifies if you have the audio file. If you do Nimbuzz won’t install again. So can be happening that another voice application can be causing the problem when installing Nimbuzz. We would advise you to try to uninstall another voice application that you have on your phone and try to install Nimbuzz. After you install the other applications back.
    PLease try it and let us know if it works.

    SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is a protocol used to establish, modify and terminate VOIP telephone calls. Using SIP, you can make cheap calls to a landline and regular mobile phones. With Nimbuzz SIP support, you can make Internet calls via the Nimbuzz Phonebook feature by adding any SIP provider you already use. Costs depend on your SIP provider rates.

    SIP calling is mostly used to make cheap international calls.
    After choosing a SIP provider of your preference:
    You can go to Options > Settings > SIP Accounts to register an account.
    After that you can place VoIP calls via the Phonebook

    Let us know if you have more questions!

    i can make call through nimbuzz using cellular network and I dont have any problem with sound, but when i try to make calls through SIP i cant hear any sound. I use Actionvoip.com SIP. Also i tried calling with terrasip, but the results are same i.e both party can’t hear any sound.
    Hope you sort this ASAP because i can’t wait more to use this awesome application

    If you can make VOIP calls via Nimbuzz there is no internet blocking on your Nimbuzz and all should be working fine.
    Nimbuzz only connects you to the Sip servers and audio/voice is managed by them.
    Please double check your SIP settings and try to enter them again.
    If you still experience these issues please contact your SIP provider team and let them know.

    I have an samsung innov8 i 8510 and and it is connected via EDGE in the netwrok (in india)

    Everything works perfectly but when i try to make a skype call to a skype user like echo 123 it says Server Unknown error occured. (if i use fring which i don’t want, it works !)

    Do you know where is it coming from ? I tried to go to settings calls but found only Celluar or SKYpe out..And i am stuck now

    Currently the SIP gateway is working fine.
    We confirmed that there is no issue from our side. Nimbuzz only connects you to the Sip servers and audio/voice is managed by them.
    Please let your SIP provider team check this issue and if they encounter any problem from our side they can inform us. We will contact the Terrasip provider and let them know about this issue.

  181. Just recently the skype calls stopped working on my Nokia 5800. It would ring for about 1 second and then the call gets terminated.
    This happens with both calling and receiving skype calls from nimbuzz.

    I previously using fring and ebuddy. Friends intro me to use nimbuzz.

    I managed to install into my memory card. managed to sign up, sign in and register MSN, yahoo and FB.

    All member list appearing… but when I trying to chat with them, it seems the msg does not pass over to them.

    I tried to chat with my colleague, they failed to received my msg….I’m now still trying it out.

    please help.

    I have been using nimbuzz to make skype-to-skype calls on my Nokia 5800 for about three months. I use my wifi connection at home for this.

    About two weeks ago, the skype-to-skype calls stopped working. As soon as I make the call (about 1 second), the call is ended. The same problem happens too when I receive skype calls. It rings for 1 second and then the call gets terminated.

    I can see my skype contacts online and I can msg with them without any problem.

    My nimbuzz id is : seeklink

    I am using a vodafone connection in India, state Andhra Pradesh

    I’ve just upgraded my Nokia 5800 to the latest firmware (V31.0.101) and the Skype to Skype calls stopped working. As soon as the other party tries to pick up the call, it is terminated. The same happens when I tried to answer skype calls. It gets disconnected before I can answer it.
    This only happens for skype voice calls and was working before I upgraded the firmware.

    Now make sure your phone date is correct. As the latest Nimbuzz was released about 2-3 weeks ago if your phone date is earlier then 3weeks ago you will get a certification error telling you to check your phone date or something like that.

    So just be sure your phone date is correct and that you downloaded the most recent version of Nimbuzz.

    I’m really tried from nimbuzz !!
    I can’t hear any sound when making any kind of call (using nimbuzzout with 10 € credit account), I have no error message when connecting to nimbuzz server,
    I can see my contacts and their statuts,
    chat is working ok, but in calls, when established, I ca hear nothing !!!!

    All sound functions are ok (No silent or vibrate state),
    I m using HTC Touch pro 2, with WM 6.5 (standard)
    I m using Nimbuzz for WM PPC 1.3.0.1241
    I m using Orange France as cell provider in France,

    So, what’s missing

    It could be possible that some of this Networks you are connecting on Wi-Fi are restricted and just let you connect to http websites, and not to applications that require socket connection.
    If you get that error message you can try to use the wap version of nimbuzz going to wap.nimbuzz.com on your phone browser.

    I downloaded Nimbuzz 2.01 from ovi store which works perfectly fine.
    When I try to upgrade to 2.02 directly from my mobile, it downloads and starts the installation but then immediately my phone restarts.
    I downloaded from Nimbuzz site also and tried transferring from my PC to mobile but in vain.
    I don’t get any error message also.
    For now, I am continuing with Nimbuzz 2.01 version.

The thing that i dont like is that i)when ever i send any chat msg it takes a while to deliver, it was not like that in the older version ii)while making calls, it sometimes happens that im unable to hear the other person’s voice. iii)the msgs come directly on the screen when the nimbuzz is hidden.. though its a good feature but is a problem sometimes!

    Just installed the latest version couple of days ago on my Nokia5800 and all my contacts are gone. I removed and added again all my connections (yahoo, gtalk, skype etc.) and although the connection is reported to be successful with all of them my contacts list is still empty.

    I was able to chat through YM when someone else called me first so I’m assuming this is an issue with contacts retrieval only.

Thank to that mine 5800 xm gettin heYwired, the touch feature doesn’t work anYmore at first i thought that was just temporallY hang, but i was mistaken mY 5800 xm got to be hospitalized in the nearest nokia care and it cost me quite alot think that i just buy a brand new one (not secondhand phone), nimbuzz was one of mY good reason to bought 5800 at first, but now….i think i’ll staY awaY from it in the future.

    No the problem has been for the past week or so, even on a 3g connection.

    The only time it does work is on wireless networks, I have tried reinstalling it but I shall try again.

    Please check if your current network allows VOIP traffic and make sure there is no firewall blocking the audio.
    In order to allow the Nimbuzz audio please ask your Network Administrator to check your router configuration and enable UDP incoming/ outgoing in the port range: 10000 until 65000.

    We do not proxy SIP Voice Streams, which means that Nimbuzz just connect s you to the Sip server and the audio and voice connection is managed by your SIP provider.

    i’ve been using nimbuzz successfully before….
    nd I enjoyed many great benefits on it,,,
    chatting nd free call,,,,,
    but lastly I downloaded the newest one with 3.1 version by requested notification whenever I had signed in my old one,,,,
    the nimbuzz was successful downloaded nd installed in my nokia,,,,
    but whenever I tried signing in,,,,
    it couldn’t be open b’coz the”loading” was too long,,,
    surely the network provider was good settled
    wht’s the matter with my nimbuzz,,,,
    was it too big capacity to my mob,,,???
    or how could I get my previous nimbuzz,,,,???
    plzzzz help me nd reply me as soon as possible,,,,

    Thanks for reporting, we have been informed of some blocking and filtering issues.
    Since this is a governmental decision, there is not much we can do about the blocking.

    On your Nimbuzz go to Options > Settings > SIP Accounts to register an account.
    After that you can place VoIP calls via the Phonebook.

    We do not support the login via third party apps like Bombus.
    If you have issues login via Bombus, we recommend you to contact their Costumare care service.

    This error message normally occurs when you press the download button twice. Please press ‘download’ once and wait for the download to start.

  286. Hi Nimbuzz support, I’ve got Nokia 5800 with Nimbuzz installed. I seem to have a problem signing in as it goes to the ‘connecting’ screen and it logs out again. Nimbuzz has worked before on this phone. What could be the problem?

    Which type of connection are you using when this happens?
    Have you tried to connect to Wap.nimbuzz.com on your phone browser? do you get the same result?

  288. @jenny – Please follow these steps to activate Nimbuzz Ping on Symbian phone
    Nimbuzz>>Menu/Options>>Advanced>>Nimbuzz Ping>>Enable/Disable
    Once you select this option you would be asked to register your number if it was not registered earlier. You are not required to enter the code to activate the same on Symbian device. In case you still face any issue please reach out to support@nimbuzz.com

  289. Hi there , I used Nimbuzz for almost a year. Its such a good application. But one day it said ther’s a new version available so I downloaded the new one.(Its the lates version from Nokia ovi store) It installed properly. But When I type in my user id and password, it only keeps saying connecting but nothing happens…I unstalled ,,,re-installed,,re-downloaded and again re-installed from ovi store. nothing seems to work. Can any one help me fix this problem? please i keep in touch with my parents using nimbuzz but i cant use it any more. i use Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.   290. @Pratik – There a two Nimbuzz application available on OVI store. One for Java devices and another for Symbian devices.
