We are proud to announce that O2 is launching the highly anticipated Toshiba TG01 handset with Nimbuzz preinstalled, right now, across all O2 channels in Germany!

Toshiba’s TG01 was first unveiled earlier in the year and ever since everybody is looking forward to get their hands on the hottest 4.1 inch screen mobile out there.

It is a great achievement for  Nimbuzz to be the social messaging partner of choice for Toshiba and O2. The new 3.0 O.S. from Apple brings a lot of new features and Yes, push notification is on the goodies list!

For the ones of you that are not familiar with the term, push notification is the ability of an app to alert you of something even if you’re not running it. This new feature is very useful for Nimbuzz users, especially because we can only run one app at the time on the iPhone or iPod touch.

We are working on the Nimbuzz push notification and we promise it will be available VERY soon!

Before announcing the winners we would like to thank you all for taking the Nimbuzz survey. The response rate was awesome and we are learning a lot about you and how we should improve Nimbuzz. Thanks!

As we have promised, we picked 3 random winners first thing Monday morning, and sent them an email requesting their mailing address by Thursday the 18th of June 5 PM ET(U.S.), before having to pick another winner.

We were pleasantly surprised to see that the replies came in a matter of hours: Chris from France and Eric from the USA have responded really fast and we already sent them their brand new Nokia 5800XM phones.  Unfortunately the third winner (from Indonesia) did not reply and we had to pick another winner today. Be sure to check your email in the next 24 hours, you could be the other lucky winner!
