    used codes is only G711/a; /u (64kbps)further gsm(13kbps), at sip.ephone.hu on vodafone’s mobile network with n70 edge modem.
    Otherwise keys do not functions: choice of extension menu
    Since my last post I had infos:
    *My VSP suggested config,I dont know if your proxy is affected:registration expired on 3600ms >>suggested value
    *16000-22000 UDP should remain open
    *stun port 3478
    Hope you can solve,as I heard incoming calls works on E51 builtin softw.,where is the secret?

    Thanks for the information provided.
    Nimbuzz Currently only supports iLbc codec when running on 3G.
    Check with your provider about allowing iLbc codec as it has the best results on 3G networks.
    Please check it and let us know in case your problem persists.

  8. I had transmitted your request to use iLBC codec, they said(sip.ephone.hu) no intened to because it requiqes a lot more process-time(20x),mean a lot more ressource,mean more expensive for them.Instead of,they use the similar low-rate gsm codec.Can NIMBUZZ ensure the gsm compatibility?
    OTHERVISE outgoing calls are working for me,only I am not reachable,incoming calls went to voicemail,well listen messages.
    FINALLY wha do you suggest to me?thank you for effort,best rgds.

    iLbc processing is not a problem nowadays with current processing power of Symbian, Iphone, WM etc.
    Nimbuzz wants to ensure the best voice quality over 3G and Wifi Networks. For that iLbc has the best capability of dealing with packet loss which is very common on public wifi on poor 3G connection.

    Your Nimbuzz username (e.g. Username123)
    Nimbuzz client and version in use (e.g. Symbian 2.2)
    Destination number and country that you are calling or trying to call (e.g. Spain +34957989709)
    Date and time when you experienced this problem (e.g. 25/07/2009 10:30 AM)
    Any error message you received, and when this message appeared. (e.g. Call Unavailable)

  18. I am a new user in Nimbuz.My handset is Nokia N72.My prob is tht I am nt able 2 get connected 2 the Nimbuz server.Evrytime it shwz an error “Unable 2 connect.Select any other access point”.But though I tried all the access points,the result is the same.Plz help me frnd.

    Probably your device needs you to set an Access Point for third party applications. Check with your Network provider.

    I have an issue when i try and make calls through SIP.
    before the call gets connected, NIMBUZZ gives me an error “You are not connected to a 3G or Wifi network, so call quality will be low”.
    I am on an unlimited 3G data package… and even when i connect through Wifi, it gives me the same error.
    I have a Nokia N97 handset.
    Please help on this.

    The message you receive is a warning, not an error message that appears to let you know about the possibility of quality sound issues.
    If you are using a 3G data plan but connected to a GPRS antena you can receive this message.
    If you are connected to a Wi-fi spot, but connecting to Nimbuzz using your GPRS APN you could also receive the same message.
    Please check which connection type are you using when you receive this warning. If it is in a different case that above mentioned let us know and we will investigate.

  22. hey, i have the latest version of nimbuzz on my nokia 5800, i used it from over 1 year, the problem is that i’m not able to connect anymore trought my unlimitaed 3g internet, i can do only by wifi connection… Also i can open any page of internet throught 3g . Plz help. Regards.

    Currently we do not proxy SIP Voice Streams, which means that Nimbuzz just connects you to the Sip server and the audio and voice connection is managed by your SIP provider.

    To get the proper SIP configuration or for any doubts about the call connection we recommend you to contact your SIP provider team and they will be able to assist you.

    Let us know if you have any other question.

    Thanks for reporting.
    Could you please try to uninstall the application and install it again, but this time save it on the device’s memory instead of the memory card?

  31. Just want to get a confirmation from a nimbuzz support that this codec restriction of iLBC over 3G is still the case. Actually I suspect it is not. The reason I am asking is because I successfully connected to google voice with Nimbuzz over 3G on my iphone. And I am pretty sure google doesn’t support iLBC. So it should be using G711 with Nimbuzz. Can the support guru here please confirm my suspicion?

    yes we support G711 as a fallback, in case the provider doesnt support iLBC :)

    Just curious about how the negotiation happens: I believe Nimbuzz sends out the first packet, maybe with a list of offered codecs including both iLBC and G711? If so, could it be possible that the server simply choose G711 even though they supports iLBC as well? Or maybe Nimbuzz only sends iLBC in the first packet and then, when the server rejects the call, it will offer G711 instead?

    The correct behavior is send both with preferred priority order to be used.
    The provider should respect user prefference in case it supports both.

  41. This might be related to the problem I am seeing? In my case, Nimbuzz seems to be successfully registered with my SIP provider. But when I make a call, it says SIP failure, operator declined the call. Details showed that I am not registered.

    Type of connection: both Wifi and 3G
    SIP provider: using sipsorcery with gizmo5 and google voice
    When: Problem happened two days ago. Other SIP client (e.g. iSip) works fine. But I prefer Nimbuzz’s voice quality.
    Where I am: NY USA.

    Please check with your SIP provider, this issue seems to be at their end, since we just connect you to their system, we do not manage their voice systems.

I really like nimbuzz but i have problems again, first i got the error 20, then installed nimbuzz on the phone memory not in the card memory and it solve but now i constantly have the error 25 and the error 1 so it crashes the app, my phone is a nokia 5530 with lastest version of symbian… Hope u can help me

  46. Gud day Siir/Ma’am. I bought a new SE X10, but when I acces nimbuzz it says that I have to sign in again which I did. And it says further that there is a registered username the same as that of mine which I believe was me. I receive a mesage for validation but was not validated.   53. again, I start the app, sign in, shows the contacts but not online and then appears the message error -(1) and all my contacts dissapear, all on messengerm facebook, skype and yahoo that are the accounts i have, then i uninstall the app, reinstall and everything its ok untill appears messare error 25 and all the chats save dissapear, cant start any chat and then appears again error 1 and all my contacts dissapear, my phone is a nokia 5530, i install the app on the phone memory, havent changed any configuration…..

  73. Hi there,My name is faizan, i have a nimbuz account my user id is faizanansari1984 , i just started with nimbuzz so i did not entered my phone number. It was working fine but one day it says your username or password is incorrect. I tried so many times as i was damn sure about user name which is faizanansari1984 and my correct password but i am still unable to login…. I tried to reset my password but i need to provide phone# for forgot password option which i have not yet registered with nimbuzz.     We are aware of some Facebook connectivity issues.
    Our team has been working on a fix for that, could you try to
    re-register your FB account on Nimbuzz and inform us if the issue
    persist?
    If it does, could you let us know which device and Nimbuzz version are
    you using?
    Note if you are using a Nimbuzz Java version older than 1.9 the FB
    community won’t show, we strongly recommend you to update to the
    latest version available and try again.

  83. hi, just got a new BB device yet without a plan.
    i tested nimbuzz and it really does a great job, except one thing!
    After awhile of being online, it goes offline and keeps reconnecting without success unless i close the app and reopen it.
    I don’t face this prob with wifi when connection type it set to “socket”. but with my mobile network, it’s set to HTTP as it never connects with “socket” option.

    Any solution for this prob?

    We recommend you to please change the following settings in the Nimbuzz application?

    Select Menu > Settings > Connection Type > HTTP

    In case you know your connection type select manually the Start – up Connection also.

Hi there, I am using Samsung B7320 Omnia Pro Mobile, i have enabled GPRS service and i could use thru NIMBUZZ online chat, voice calling etc. When i have WiFi connection the NIMBUZZ is not running and it shows no internet connection. But using WiFi i could use Phone’s builtin Application like, Weather report, m.Facebook, and even email also working. What Will be the problem. Please help me….

    As of July 1st Nimbuzz for Windows Mobile phones will no longer be available for download from our website. If you already have Nimbuzz on your mobile phone we will continue to offer support until the end of 2010, but no new features will be added, which means there won’t be any future update.

  89. Hello,i jst joined nimbuzz network and i use nokia 7210 supernova. I tried signing into my fb account n it keeps tellin me d user name’s not correct. Which one am i suppose to use? D nimbuzz user name or fb user name? I tried both thou and it didn’t work. Also,a mail was sent to me to confirm my nimbuzz account,but d link i ought to use is missin.     You use your Nimbuzz ID to login to Nimbuzz
    To login to FB via Nimbuzz you need to use the FB username you use directly to log on FB site itself.
    Let us know which exact Nimbuzz version do you use if you are still facing issues.

    The App has been withdrawn from Greece, Poland, and Hungary for the 3G VoIP requirement. This restriction was agreed with Apple developer relations.

    You can register yourself after downloading, pressing on the link that says “get a new account” or at our website http://www.nimbuzz.com/en/web/login

    Once you have created your account and you are logged in, you can go to Communities and register your accounts.

    If you get “not enough memory” as an error, this might be because some devices, like yours, sometimes don’t have enough memory to run or support Nimbuzz.
    That’s why we have the wap version in which you can chat with your buddies. The chatroom feature and the call feature are not available.
    We suggest you to try the wap version just pointing your mobile browser to wap.nimbuzz.com

    able 2 chat with nimbuzz. But d problem now is dt my phone fell and went blind, after fixing it i tried opening nimbuzz and d phone went off, i tried it again, same thing. So i deleted and re downloaded it. It was stil goin off. Is there anythin dt can b done? D phone is C5.

    Which exact issue are you facing?
    Do you get any error message when trying to start the app? If yes, which one?
    You mentioned that the device has felt and been damaged, please make sure your device works properly.

    Could you please uninstall Nimbuzz and reinstall it again saving the application file on the phone memory (c: drive) instead of the sym card memory?

    Make sure you are using the latest version available for your device (1.9.4) if you are and you still face this issue “Not enough memory”
    Please send a mail to support@nimbuzz.com with the Subject: “Not enough memory” and in the body add your username, country and device (make and model).
