Toshiba TG01 launches in Italy with Nimbuzz

 

Nimbuzz on TG01

After being launched in Germany, 2 weeks ago, the Toshiba TG01 handset continues its European launch and is now available in Italy with Nimbuzz pre-installed from Euronics.

That sounds like good news for the 47 million mobile users in Italy, and especially for the 25.9% that are already mobile media users (ComScore). The Italian owners of the new TG01 will be able to connect and interact with all of their friends from the most popular Social Networks and Instant Messaging communities with just one touch from the main screen.  Our partnership with Giovani.it adds even more local social appeal to the Toshiba TG01‘s launch in Italy, since Giovani.it‘s  users can connect directly with friends using Nimbuzz on the Giovani.it’s website.

By being pre-installed on the handset,  we aim to simplify and enhance  the daily “hyper-connected” lifestyle of the TG01 mobile user.

    Currently Skype is working fine on Nimbuzz.
    Since when you have this problem?
    Please double check your Skype account details saved on Nimbuzz settings to make sure it is saved correctly.
    Can you please let us know which is your username in Nimbuzz and Skype to be able to investigate your issue?

  4. Have noticed frequent problems with skype on nimbuzz it says connecting then after a while call ended then it refuses to dial through skype till application is restarted this occurs with sip too,also incomingon sip is a hit and miss,still a way to go on the reliability stakes guys!

    We are aware of a temporary issue regarding SIP incoming calls.
    We are working in order to fix it as soon as possible.

    Regarding Skype Calling can you have audio before the calls ends?
    Which internet connection are you using while placing these calls?
    Can you let us know your username on Skype to be able to investigate it?

  6. Something that i like from this blog is atleast we learn something here. Like italy counts 45 million mobile users. Thats an interesting piece of information. Thats what also encourage to visit this blog. I guess we’ll have more italian friends on nimbuzz, hope atleast they know speaking english. Another great thing is that nimbuzz keep getting popular. Who knows if one every mobile phones comes with nimbuzz pre installed. Anyway thats a a good news!

  8. my frd who is online on msn through his mobile nokia 3200 and showing me online here on my nimbuzz bt when im calling him its showing that its ringing on my mobile bt he don’t have any message to pic a call . he don’t have nimbuzz in his mobile how I cal him ?

    Indeed the Chatroom feature is not available for WIndows Mobile devices.
    Nimbuzz Chatrooms are accessible from Nimbuzz Mobile for Symbian and Java devices.
    We will consider adding the chatroom feature in other Mobile platforms in the future.

    Which device are you using? Do you get any error message?
