I wonder if option Call me over Nimbuzz widget is still working. Now when someone clicks the link to my personal widget it shows only options: Start chat, Send file, Message me, Buzz me. Before that there was also an option Call me, so my friends were able to call me on my mobile phone from computer. Is this only temporarily or this option will no longer be available with Nimbuzz?

Nice update on msn, the messages won’t lost from now if someone sends messages during offline status and the singing in will be done on the mobile version of Nimbuzz.

I can’t connect to my MSN Account. I type in my correct username and password and a moment later Nimbuzz says that either my username or my password is wrong. I couldn’t use Nimbuzz for at least one week.

Thanks for reporting.

If you are not able to register your MSN account please check the following:

1. You are introducing the correct username & password (please type it, do not copy & paste)

2. We recommend you not to have a longer password with more than 17 characters.

3. Please try not to have non alphanumerical characters on your password, it is a known issue for some communities , that this does not let them register via Nimbuzz although on the client itself is possible.

Let us know if after checking this, your MSN still doesn’t register on Nimbuzz. Then we will check if there is an issue from our side.

I am facing only problem in the voice issue only. Nimbuzz to nimbuzz voice calls also not working. Gtalk, sip provider(nymgo.com), skype. i tried all but voice not working.

Is this due to any blocking from service provider.?

Using Internet through mobile – Nawras Oman 3G.
No error message. Call ending after some time.

I am using sip account to make phone calls.
I tried to call google talk. its also not working. i LOGGED MY ONE ACCOUNT IN COMPUTER AND TRIED I AM GETTING CALL FROM MY GTALK ID LOGGED IN nIMBUZZ. BUT I CANT HEAR ANY THING.

I have been having problems with my Nimbuzz for the past two weeks. If I make calls using sip(voipstunt) the other person cannot hear me. Nimbuzz freezes my phone sometimes when talking on Nimbuzz. I have I have a Nokia 5800 and E71 and they both experience the above issues.

We do not proxy SIP Voice Streams, which means that Nimbuzz just connect s you to the Sip server and the audio and voice connection is managed by your SIP provider.

If you have this kind of issues, please contact your SIP Support Team and let them know .

Aren’t you bored already Shan? you have answered their questions like five times already, and I have done that before as well, they then told me to send them privately on a help email address and until now, nobody replied, they do not have a solution.

I have the same problem, Nimbuzz in Oman does not work for voice calls, neither on IM biddies or SIP calls, and neither on 3G nor Wifi, clear and simple, on the other hand, Fring DOES work.

Isn’t that your problem too Shan?

Hi, I Installed Nimbuzz mobile yesterday ver 2.0.3 and I am unable to make calls or receive calls nimbuzz to nimbuzz and nimbuzz to gtalk and viceversa.

Is there any problem whith conections? XMMP seems to be the problem, MSN to MSN works Just fine.

This is not a known issue.
Do you get any error message?
Please note that if the green button to call isn’t enabled is because your contact is not enabled to receive calls.
In order to investigate it can you please let us know your Nimbuzz and Gtalk IDs and the date and time it happened?

Currently we do not have any problem with Gtalk calling.
Please check if operator(carrier) is not blocking. Nimbuzz requires UDP ports open in the range: 15000 to 65000.

Please check it and let us know in case your problem persists.

Please check with your operator (carrier). Specify the APN you are using to your carrier and ask for UDP port blocking. They will be able to assist you.

Please check that you have the Push notifications enabled.
Note that Nimbuzz will keep you online during 30minutes, if the messages come later than that is not possible to show them.
We are working in order to make the timing to stay in the background longer.

Note that Nimbuzz won’t work if you are using Http connection and you might be re-directed to use the Wap version of Nimbuzz directly on your phone browser.

Please check if you are behind a firewall or your network has some ports restricted that could not let you connect to Nimbuzz.
We recommend you to check directly with your network provider to get this information.

I am facing problem with nimbuzz in my mobile e71, it get installed but not working properly, always ask for socket connection, sometime goes direct to web format also. What is this problem? I got GPRS with 144kbps and 1MB WiFi connection. Previously I used to have Nokia 5320 music express but nimbuzz was smooth in 144kbps GPRS connection in Nokia 5320 music express, please advise for Nokia e71!!!!

Are you using Http connection?
Nimbuzz does not connect with Http, just Socket connection.
If your network connection does not allow you to connect to Socket connection , it will prompt you to the wap connection wap.nimbuzz.com which you can probably connect without restrictions problems.

hi,

i just installed nimbuzz 2.0.3 in my e63.
i had issues when making calls.
i can do mobile nimbuzz to nimbuzz and it works well.
but when i try making calls from my phone to IM (yahoo) buddies,the call just ended.
my IM (yahoo) buddies tried calling me to my nimbuzz phone but we cant hear each other btu the call was not disconnected.
do i need to configure something in my phone to have it working properly?

my IM (yahoo) buddy got an error saying that “no voice signals can be found, there might be a problem on the connection” but it work great with mobile nimbuzz to nimbuzz.. Please let me know what needs to be done.. this is a great application.. tnx

Im using an e63 phone and im trying to call an YM friend (pc). I tried making a call nimbuzz to nimbuzz and we do have audio. We’re actually having the same issues when we tried calling an IM friend.

Are you using a Third party application to connect to Nimbuzz?
Are you using Nimbuzz on Webchat, Mobile or PC? Which version?
Are you not able to receive IM messages from your friends? If yes, to which community do they belong?
Are your friends not receiving your messages?
How did you notice?
Which status are you and your friends displaying when this happens (online, busy, away…)?

To follow up my previous bug report,
I haven’t had a chance to try Nimbuzz buddy audio, but I can confirm that Skype buddy and SkypeOut audio works with wifi/edge, but Gtalk audio doesn’t work.

Im using Nimbuzz on my phone for a long time and it always worked fine,but now that I downloaded the PC version of Nimbuzz I get An error Saying:(an error occurred while we were trying to sign you in with your nimbuzz account)(Only on the pc the phone still works fine) I am behind a firewall but the internet connection for my PC and phone Are The same !

Hello, I just downloaded Nimbuzz in my mobile Nokia E71 but could not connect it. A message shows “A connection to the selected access point could not be established. Choose ‘retry’ to retry the test or ‘web’ to launch Nimbuzz web”. I retried several times but could not succeed. But, Nimbuzz web is easily opened in the web browser. Please help!

PLease check with your interent provider if you are allowed to use applications that require socket internet connection.
Some providers do allow to to browse the interent and use applications that use Http connection, Nimbuzz does not work with Http connection, that’s why you cannot connect, but using the wap version (going to wap.nimbuzz.com on your phone browser) you should not have any trouble.

Hi, I am using 3G connection services for mobile operator here in Oman named Nawras. Nimbuzz is connected here but no voice at all in any thing (msn, sip, gtalk, skype). Call is connected but no voice at either side and this issue is a very old issue which is still not solved yet. I am using the latest version.

Are you being charged by your WiFi provider for data usage while on Nimbuzz?

At the moment Nimbuzz application is free for download and use.
Though, Nimbuzz does require a data connection, and in case you do not have a free WiFi access point your provider charges will apply. For this reason to be able to make full use of the application benefits we recommend you to connect using a a free WiFi hotspot or flatrate data plan.

umm heyy again.. what do you mean by free wifi and yes i do use wifi.. How do I mae the wifi free.. My service provider live about 100 km away from where i am atm and it is very hard to get there i do not have any phone number or something like this.. what do you think i should do?

Having some issues trying to run nimbuzz in a corporate firewall.
Had my network admin open the port for nimbuzz so now i can chat in there but when i try to make calls it kept saying connection problem. VoIP audio traffic may be blocked on your current WiFi connection.

What port is the audio traffic running on?

Try openning the UDP ports in range 15000 until 65000.

i am using nimbuzz on nokia 5800. Whenever i try to make call through sip, voip(skypeout), or through communities i get an error message voip audio traffic may be blocked on your network connection. Do you still want to make a call?
I am using a bsnl 3g connection and reside in punjab, India.
Kindly help.

Please check with your Network provider or sys admin, if there are restrictions on your netwrok that might be blocking the VoIP traffic.

I am having the same problem as Kiran above. I have been signed in via my laptop since last night. My computer did an update and restarted. When it was booted back up, I could not sign back into nimbuzz, saying there is a network error and to try again later. My network connection is working fine. Please tell me what the problem is, this is the only way I have communication with my fiance while he is in the army. Thank you!

Do you use Windows Vista?
Vista users should upgrade the PC client while running in Administrator mode. To do so, first exit Nimbuzz by right clicking the Nimbuzz icon in the system tray and selecting “Exit”. Next, locate the Nimbuzz icon on your desktop, right click and select “Run as Administrator”. Nimbuzz will now start and once you sign-in you will be able to upgrade.

I need urgent help pls.
I downloaded the new version of nimbuzz on my Nokia N82 on the 29th of December and have not been able to login since then. Each time I try to login the entire phone hangs and nothing works again until I have to remove the battery and replace it again. The old version was working fine. What do I do?

Hello,i downloaded nimbuzz for pc and installed it but when i try to sign in it says “a network error occurred when we tried to sign you in try again later”.i haven’t been able to sign in yet. I dont remember the site where I downloaded it from. However I have uninstalled it and installed the older version and it works well now. I wont be trying the newer version again anytime soon.Thanks

i’ve got problems connecting @ home. I think my router is the problem. Wich ports does Nimbuzz use? i can try 2 open those and then see what happens. Have an iphone 3gs, latest nimversion, and i live in The Netherlands. shutting off wifi, and there is an connection trough 3g network, put wifi on again and i can’t logg in.

check your router configurations and make sure you have UDP ports open in the range: 15000 until 65000.

The Nokia 6120 is using a Java version of Nimbuzz which does not include the calling feature.

Due to current technical limitations we do not support VOIP calling on Java based devices like yours.

We are aware of some audio issues on Xperia Mini and other Android devices running OS older than 2.2, hence the reason why we suspect this is an issue with the OS. In these conditions VoIP does not work properly because the microphone is deactivated during the call.
We normally recommend an OS update to solve the problem but unfortunately, the Froyo update is not yet available for your device. In these conditions we don’t have a solution for your case at the moment, but we are focused on finding alternatives.

Note that Calling is just available on Nimbuzz Mobile for Android, iPhone and Nokia Symbian S60 devices.

hi, I used to make nymgo voip calls through nimbuzz till last month on my nokia e5 with nimbuzz latest version in UAE, the voice clarity was perfect, but since last one month the voice is not clear at all, please give me a solution for this.

Thanks for letting us know your issue. Nimbuzz just connects you to the SIP servers.
The audio and voice portion of the call, is managed by your SIP provider. For this reason we recommend you to contact your SIP Support Team about this.

Could you tell us which device, type of connection and the number of Nimbuzz version are you using ? Do you receive an error message ? If so, what does this error message say?

I am Jaleel, now I am facing the same problem as Taimur.
I am using the Nokia E66. Now I have been problems with Nimbuzz to Nimbuzz voice calls.For since last one week I have not been able to Voice chat. But earlier, till one week before I could use Nimbuzz to Nimbuzz voice calls very well, without any trouble. one day when I was speaking with my friend through Nimbuzz, the time my battery was empty, then I was recharged my mobile, after that whenever I try to have a voice chat, I get a error message that “voip audio traffic may be blocked on your current internet connection. Do U still want to place the call”.
If I give answer ‘No’, the call dissconnected. If I give answer ‘Yes’, I can connect the call, but cannot hear/listen voice to eachother.
When I felt this problem, after that I was removed my old Nimbuzz version and now installed new version. But the problem is still continuing.
My present Nimbuzz version is: 3.02(0)
I am using Vodafone Live Internet, here in India at kerala.
note: Fring have working perfectly with voice calls without troubles.
Please give me a solution for it immedeatly.

Check directly with your Network provider it you get this warning message before placing a call “The Operator you are connected to Blocks VoIP. For making use of Calling functionality use Wi-Fi.”
You can also try using Wi-Fi to place calls.

If you have issues regarding SIP calls, we recommend you to please contact your SIP Support Team and let them know.
We do not proxy SIP Voice Streams, which means that Nimbuzz just connects you to the SIP servers and the audio and voice portion of the call, is managed by your SIP provider.

Since you are located in Oman please check with your network provider directly, it can be possible that your Network provider does not allow VoIP on their side.
