Great week here at Nimbuzz HQ! We have good news and coverage to share with you!

Thanks to Will Park from Intomobile for letting us know that Nimbuzz was the most downloaded app on Getjar in the US in July!

Getjar is the world’s most popular mobile application distribution and developer community, with over 200,000 developer and beta-tester accounts and it’s makes us really happy to see that Nimbuzz is the most popular application among US users.

We also released Nimbuzz for Android handsets, and now we feel it’s time to share with you the best coverage we found on the top blogs out there:

The first rumors about the new Nimbuzz application, appeared 2 weeks ago when TechCrunch UK announced that the Android application will be available really soon. This announcement was a great an opportunity to reveal new exciting data about Instant Messaging usage habits across the world, which was the result of Nimbuzz survey of over 21.000 users. Hillel from Tech N’ Marketing, a really close friend of ours,  is really enthusiastic about the new application and was the first how covered the news on his blog:

“Nimbuzz is always on the cutting edge and the developers never seem to rest. Their iPhone app is top notch and is updated frequently. They recently released a Mac version that I was testing out for months, one of my top 10 Mac applications. I have been testing out the app, and let me tell you, it is no disappointment. The interface is clean and easy on the eyes, and it is packed with features and different network options.

The bottom line is, Nimbuzz has done it again. Most mobile experts predict that Android will gain a significant market share in the coming years, and Nimbuzz, as usual, is first on the scene.”
