Good news for all the Nokia and Nimbuzz fans out there, Nimbuzz is present in the Ovi store and ready for download for your beloved Nokia mobile phones [Ovi Download link].

In the last year many of us realized that Apple’s App Store model was a huge success and with 1 Billion applications downloaded in less one year,  few can contradict this.

The idea spread out really quick and soon after,  big names of the mobile industry went in the same direction.  Nokia,  Google, Sony (and a lot more to follow) created a unique space for their users to find the best applications for their mobile phones. From what we can tell each of the stores is a success:  App Store, Android Market, Ovi Store and also Getjar.com where Nimbuzz was the was #1 most downloaded application in US store last month.

Soon after Nimbuzz was present in the Ovi Store, Yash Maheshwar  from Oviapplications wrote a really detailed Nimbuzz review that we are really happy to share with you: Nimbuzz – The one app to IM them all!

  1. Hello Andi, Thanks for the mention :)
    Absolutely my favorite IM & Messenger app amongst all of them.

    Although there is one thing I would really like Nimbuzz to support, the Friend Merger feature which is present in Fring. With so many different networks used by almost every friend, this would help remove the duplicate entries for the same friend from the list.

    P.S Can you fix the typo in my name :)

  6. nimbuzz is a great app. But i think it needs more feature. Like status of the contacts if they are on sms or on bc mode or afk. And one more thing is theres no notification when someone gets online.

    Were you able to download and install Nimbuzz succesfully on your phone? Are you able to launch Nimbuzz on your phone?
    At which stage you get problems?
    Which internet connection are you using?
    Do you get any error message?

  9. nimbuzz is a great apps..it is working good for v.2 3..nw im using latest version 2.4. I notice that it is always hang, and i can’t get the good cignal for my internet broadband.i compare it to other apps like fring..and fring gets the good cignal of 3.5g from my phone. Plz check out the nimbuz apps. For me it is the best one

    Is it while using an specific feature? If yes, which one?
