Going through my RSS feed this morning, I stumbled upon this interesting article: “Man sends 662,258 txts in 30 days via Mobilecrunch.”  662,258texts?!!

I imagine he spent a lot of money since his bill was printed on 12,000 pages of hard copy. Yes, I know… amazing.

I also imagine he spent a fortune on something that could have been FREE, especially when more and more people are moving away from text messages and using IM services and social networks to share updates with their friends.

So here’s some advice for our anonymous friend: install Nimbuzz on your iPhone and you can set a new world record for sent text messages, but this time for free.   1. Phew! I’ve only managed to send a little over 700 text messages in my teenage years, but I think that according to modern day standards, that’s pretty standard!

    22,075 msg a day
    920 msg an hour
    15 msg a min
    and almost 1 msg every 4sec, wihtout any sleep! surely its not a man it’s a robot.

    Iphone and nimbuzz, well i’m trying to imagine typing fast on touch screen how slow it would be, meh!

    We are constantly working in order to have new updates and provide a nicer service.
    We cannot provide you with a estimate date of when we will release a new version, since they are still underdevelopment.

  11. Hi, it’s not surprisingly. Just u can send if u have the real mobile. Though, I have a MAUI_WAP_Browser and I have sent some 16,000 within a month.
