Nimbuzz has made it on to the Times Online list for Best mobile apps for iPhone and Androids! !

Here’s what they say:

Nimbuzz (free, nimbuzz.com) for the iPhone, BlackBerry, Nokia and Android combines your instant messaging and chat services, including all the big ones – Skype, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger and even Facebook chat.

This is a fantastic endorsement and proof that Nimbuzz just keeps getting more and more popular!

Curious to see what other apps made the list? Check it out here!

Nimbuzz has been asked by Skype to remove support for all Skype services, effective October 31st.  For free and cheap international calls from your mobile you can still use Nimbuzz and NimbuzzOut ;) .

  1. Nimbuzz is surely a great mobile software. But I hope you can make it better. The power consumption of Nimbuzz is really an issue to me.

  4. Hi there, I tried out Nimbuzz after seeing the article in the Sunday Times, and it looks great. Only problem is that it doesn’t seem to be 100% stable on Android 1.6 on my Android Developer Phone 1, e.g. selecting the option to set the notification sound causes a force close. It also seems to be quite sluggish, and sometimes just hangs at the splash screen.

Please make this better, since it looks like a great app and the Skype IM functionality for me is the best part :)

    Thanks,
    Ciarán.
