  2. Great to see the new iPhone functionality but we still sorely need the old functionality – I still can’t buzz contacts and incoming buzz’s come through as a private number. This worked fine before on my Nokia E90 as it buzzed my contacts and it also showed the Nimbuzz incoming number. So incoming buzz’s are also useless as I don’t realise someone is trying to reach me. This really reduces Nimbuzz to GTalk functionality for me on the iPhone and I’ll have to look for some other IM by the looks of it.

  6. The push notification bug is still not fixed, right? Nimbuzz is a great app but unfortunately without the notification had to jump to competitor while it’s being fixed :)

  7. Both iPhone and HTC Mobile are expensive.
So what to buy iPhone 3Gs or HTC HD2?
    Check HTC HD2 Specs at

It is currently not possible to Buzz from an iPhone.
But receiving Buzzes is possible if you have your phone registered on your account settings.
If you receive a Buzz it should be shown as a miss call from +313131 sometimes the provider can block the caller ID and show the caller as Unknown.
Let us know if you have more questions.

  12. Thanks for the reply. My provider is not blocking the caller ID as it worked fine on my Nokia E90 and I just transferred that same SIM card to my iPhone. Nokia shows the caller ID fine but the iPhone shows blocked. My iPhone does show other caller ID’s for callers so I can only assume it is the Nimbuzz for iPhone software.

I’d still like to know more about the bug on the iPhone with regards to sending the Buzz – s it the iPhone itself or the Nimbuzz software on iPhone?

    Thanks for your interest.

The Buzz feature is not integrated into the iPhone version, it is not a bug.

In regards of the caller ID, let us know where are you located (country) and which provider do you have and we will have a look into it.

If you are gonna make a call to a nimbuzz contact using Internet connection, there won’t be any extra cost.
If you want to make a call to a phone number you will need to buy NimbuzzOut credits.
Find more information about it here: http://www.nimbuzz.com/en/nimbuzzout/faq
