Dell Mini 3i – the first Android mobile from Dell

While most of the mobile brands are fighting for supremacy in the US and Europe, Dell chose a different strategy for its first Smartphone.

The brand new Dell Mini 3i running on Android will be released first in China and then Brazil. Enthusiasts will be able to buy it from China Mobile (in China without 3G) and from Claro (in Brazil).

The guys over at Android Central are saying that the new mobile “looks like a cross between an iPhone and a Palm Pre with touches of the myTouch 3G.” Looking at the picture above I would definitely add Nokia 5800 to this list :D .

The unofficial technical specs for the Dell Mini 3i are already on GSM Arena and they look good. The only thing we need to know now is how much does it cost? Will it be competitive enough?

A few days ago we wrote about the iPhone launch in China and so far Apple have sold 30,000 units (since 30 October).  We look forward to seeing the first numbers from Dell – can they overtake Apple?

Until we to see those numbers we would like to remind you that Nimbuzz already works on the new Dell Mini :D   (since it’s an Android)!!

So if you’re looking to get a great messenger on your Android phone, download Nimbuzz for free and try it out. You can find it in the Android Market by searching for Nimbuzz or you can just scan the bar code below ;) .

  1. There are few other big names who are working on android based devices which includes Samsung, Sony, HTC and Moto and now good to see that Dell shift towards Android OS devices.
