Nimbuzz for iPhone is one year old!

Last year on 26 November we were proud to present to you free calls, chat, messaging and more … on the iPhone! Today Nimbuzz for iPhone is one year old !

Since we have launched the iPhone and iPod Touch application we have upgraded many times and added 10 more languages, VoIP deluxe, improved the UI and added avatars, launched the Apple suite, added push notifications and introduced NimbuzzOut !!

As you can see we were pretty busy this year . Today we would like to thank you for all your support and feedback along the way. We listened to what you had to say and together we have created one of the best mobile messengers for the iPhone and iPod touch!

Congrats on this year’s accomplishments! I love Nimbuzz and use it a lot!
BUT! My push notifications aren’t working, although I’ve all the Push Notifications options ON. Did you fix this yet?

Indeed we are experiencing some issues with the Push notification lately.
But we are expecting to have them completely solved in the upcoming release.

Hi,

I love nimbuzz on all platforms, But at the moment i am having to use other IM software on my iPhone due to Push not working, I really dont wanna be using other software as it is no where near as good…

When do you plan to have the next release out ?

I keep checking App Store 6 times a day for update

Keep up the good work guys, I know you’ll have it sorted in no time

hey nimbuzz keep up the good work , i just have one thing to say , some time i use arabic to chat , have some problems for example , ( i’m playing football ) it shows up like this { footbal playing i’m } thats only happen when u chat in arabic , but english and other lang is all good

The Chatroom feature is currently supported on Symbian and Java devices.
We will consider in the future to add it to other devices.

Receiving Buzz alerts on your iPhone is possible if you have registered your phone number in your account settings and have allowed to get buzzes from others.
Sending Buzz alerts to other friends via your iPhone is not possible.

We are considering the option of adding chatrooms in the iPhone client, but we do not have plans for it.

The wap version can be found going to http://wap.nimbuzz.com
You will be able to log in your Skype account and chat with your Skype contacts, but the calling feature won’t be available.

I had this app on a symbian phone and on a java phone and it was awesome. I fell in love with the chatrooms, and met extremely nice and interesting people through it. Now I have the iPhone 3G, and hate the iPhone app. I’ve had the app for a year and used it only once. I will delete it after this comment, since you guys just said that you don’t have plans to include the chatrooms on the iPhone.
Thanks for the symbian and java one though, I would recommend the two to everyone, but please people, don’t download it on the iPhone if you love chatrooms like me.

Thanks for your feedback. It is important for us to know how you feel about the chatrooms implementation on the Nimbuzz for iPhone so we can take the future decisions, although we do not have plans to enable the chatrooms on the iPhone at the moment.
