Good news for iPhone users: the new Nimbuzz update includes chat history, a long awaited and much requested feature! [download here]

The new Nimbuzz version also fixes the push notification issue some of you had plus it loads faster!

when are you going to update the android app and include chat history as well as the most important thing which is voice support. Already Fring has done this (Voice Support) but I am really keying to see Nimbuzz as it is more stable on android.

you can see the chat history of the session you are in.
It will get removed when you sign out.

Hey guys, is anyone else having issues with the push to talk notifications ? Despite the recent update, my nimbuzz push to talk on iPhone dosnt seem to work.
Any comments ?

To have the Push notification working you have to have the latest 3.0 OS on you device.
Also, In Settings> Push notifications ON
Note if you are logged in another Client it won’t work, since the messages will be sent to the other client.

it’s weird to have the chat history removed after signing out ! what’s the use of having chat history if one can’t view it later?

The chat history is per session.
If you log out it won’t be saved.

We recommend you to use the wap version of Nimbuzz directly on your phone browser going to wap.nimbuzz.com

Are you calling to an IM contact? If yes, from which community?
Are you calling via a SIp provider? If yes, we do not proxy SIP Voice Streams, which means that Nimbuzz just connects you to the Sip server and the audio and voice connection is managed by your SIP provider.

If you have any problems with the audio or sound quality we recommend you to address this issues directly to your SIP provider.
Are you calling using NimbuzzOut? If yes, please report this issue to our NimbuzzOut support Team via mail to: nimbuzzout-support@nimbuzz.com

Hey guys, Thanks for all your great work, I am so glad to be back using nimbuzz again now Push is working! It’s so much better than other IM Apps out there no names mentioned e**d*y and I*+. One thing i would like to suggest is a longer time to live on Push! I like to be online 24/7 and the longest time 1hour means i miss alot of messages. 12hr, 1Day and 3Day would come in handy! Also I do seem to have some trouble connecting to MyspaceIM, It says Username/Password is wrong; I have tried changing my password, also changing email address with myspace to see if this would rectify the issues, but it still seems to occur.

Hi, i am so happy to see the update of Nimbuzz for iPhone, but here I got a problem,I am using iPhone, two days ago I updated my Nimbuzz but since I get new Nimbuzz i always get the same problem. whenever i tried to get online, I just could stay for few mins, and then I got disconnect for long time, then connect again just for a few mins and disconnected again, It happened even when my connection was really good. Can you tell me what’s going?? Thanks very much

Well my iPhone is OS 312, and my connection is GPRS . That time my GPRS connection was really good also when my friend used his new Nimbuz in the same iPhone OS 312, and used wifi, still he got the same problem like mine. Also my Push Notification is not working even though I already activated Notification in Setting. Thanks very much

In regards of the chatrooms, they are available in the Nimbuzz version for Symbian and Java.

Did update on iphone 3gs yesterday to try and resolve my issue.
Issue: chats can be seen, no read, not replied to, cant even start a new chat with any one.
If i try the applicaion just shuts down and i am on my ‘desktop’ of my iphone again. I can see my im buddies leaving me messages and in the end has to call me bexause i dont (cant) reply to them. Its very annoying especially when you are in a diffetrnt country than the person you are trying to reach and you have to in the end anyway call him/her because your product doesnt work.
I do NOT have a hacked/craked/jailbreaked iphone it is still left the same way i bought it. All my other apps worl, just not this onr.
I tried wifi and GPRS and what ever other way of connecting i could find and everytime its the same

Could you let us know if you are not able to send messages to Nimbuzz contacts or to contacts from other IM communities? If yes, which community?
Are you able to see messages received, but you are not able to start the application?
Are you then, running the application on the background?
Could you please describe the issue with some more detail, so we can try to reproduce it at our offices?

I have tried this morning again and again the same issue:

The user I have on my Nimbuzz also has Nimbuzz installed on THEIR telephone, so we are TRYING to chat using NIMBUZZ itself so it is my NIMBUZZ CONTACTS
A: TRYING TO READ MY CHAT MESSAGES LEFT :
1. Login to my Phone 3Gs ( OS Version update form Apple 3.1.2 (7D11) )

2. Carrier T-Mobile in the Netherlands
Wifi – ON and connected to the Wireless (as you can see I am receiving E-mails )
Please see PICTURE 11

3. Click on NIMBuzz Icon to Launch Application
Please see attached PICTURE 1

4. once in the application there I see my 1 contact person I have available and they are ON-LINE
Please see PICTURE 2

5. Now I click on this user and it moves on to the screen where you have the Chat sessions
Please see PICTURES 3 and Picture 4 (Clearly showing that this user has tried to chat to me)

6. Now I click on the user to actually OPEN the chat session and the application closes completely and takes me back to my Applications screen of my IPhone

TRYING TO CHAT TO MY CONTACTS:
1. Yet again, at the Applications screen of my Iphone

2. Click On NimBuzz Icon to Launch Application

3. Clearly there is a contact IN NimBUZZ Online

4. Click on USER and get to CHAT screen

6. Click CHAT – Brings me back to my Applications Screen of my IPHONE

So NO I can not READ any messages I receive in CHAT, and I CANT CHAT to any of my contacts either

Please see PICTURE 6 and PICTURE 7 for the SETTINGS I have in NIMBUZZ, It is all the default ones as I never changed it

Is this clearer or do I need to explain even more as to what the issue is?

Thanks for your interest.
We currently do not support chatroom in iPhone and iPod devices.
Due to shifting priorities and more focus on improving the voice and IM (non-chatroom) experience we don’t have any plans on the short or mid term for chatrooms.

Currently is not possible to send Voice messages directly.
If you are calling to a Nimbuzz contact and he/she does not answer you can then leave a message on his Nimbuzz Inbox.

i lovi’t this programe and i give the adresse NIMBUZZ of all my family and freinds it’s wonderful.i have a nokia N97 and when a make the update my version a have a probleme to connecte i make long time too long time my connection is ADSL to my home and after the voice is noooooo good i have a ECCO in the sound :i can’t to hear good what happend with NIMBUZZ i openi’t every day every day since 20 months ago but nowwww the is not better for me like programe please helpe me what happend with your update….. and give me the last last update for NIMBUZZ nokia N97 .THX

I have been using nimbuzz for iphone 3gs/…its pretty good….but voip only works on wifi…evenif…apple approved for voip over 3g…..please make update for voip over 3g….as I ve been using fring over 3g but…voice is so poor…thanks i advance…

Thanks to the nimbuzz team for fixing voice calls in the iphone version over 3g!!! Crystal clear calls!!! Thank you so much!!! now I’m really saving money!!! Now for the chatrrom.. If there would be.. The iphone users would go crazy!!!

I really want chatrooms on nimbuzz on iPhone.
I have tried the voice call with my contacts it’s gr8 I prefer having group chat and group call in it too
it would be much more fun if these new features are added as soon as possible.

Thanx for the consideration.
But I still think nimbuzz admin doesn’t care about the users major wants because when u see all the posts the major wants comes out to be chatrooms on nimbuzz for iPhone users and the nimbuzz admin has no plans for it. I mean first consider the major want which is chatrooms. I hope nimbuzz admin will do something about it.
