Mobile Download Speeds of 84Mbps for Scandinavia

Scandinavians have another reason to enjoy their mobile phones/devices even more: it looks like that in the next 3 years the mobile operators in Denmark and Sweden will boost the 3G mobile data download rate from 21Mbps to 84Mbps! Yes you read that right 84Mbps :D .

Back in June I remember being impressed about the 21Mbps download speed promised to Finnish people by one of the operators, but now that seems “outdated” when we think about a speed 4 times faster.

And if  I think about the fact that Finland is considering to make 1Mb broadband access legal right that almost makes me move there :D .

I’m really happy for all the people that will enjoy the advantages of using the mobile web at such speeds, but at the same time I wish that the rest of the world would also have access to it.

Imagine watching a movie online, browsing the internet, tweeting, uploading photos or chatting and calling for free on Nimbuzz on a mobile that can reach 84Mbps.  Sounds amazing, right :D ?

    Not for me, too bad :’(, we don’t even have 3G here in Algeria T_T
    Thanx for the great app (Nimbuzz), i adore it !!!
    I used to have it on my Samsung E490 and now I use it on my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic :D

    Are you calling to an IM contact? If yes, to which community?

  18. Awesome… That speed is a dream in Colombia, here we have 2Mbps – 4Mbps average speed by cable/adsl. By 3G we only have 1Mbps.

    1. why the didn’t ADD the SEARCH option for People search nearby or location by or area by.
    2. when the going to add conference call.
    3. when the going to start Video Call.
