[UK] 100,000 iPhones sold in a week

As we get closer and closer to 27th January, Apple-related news and rumors are flooding the blogs. Some of them are really funny!

So while everybody is waiting for the iSlate, Vodafone UK announced that they have sold 100,000 iPhones since putting them on sale last week. Pretty impressive if you think that the iPhone was available in UK for a while now. Also, this shows that most people don’t expect a new iPhone to be unveiled on Jan 27th, but rather an O.S. update.

As the guys from Electricpig noticed, this is a huge number, compared to Google’s Nexus One handset, which sold 20,000 in its first week.

We would like to use this opportunity to remind all the new proud iPhone owners to install Nimbuzz on their mobile. We consider it to be a ‘must have ‘app for all  mobiles out there :D .

Nimbuzz I didn’t know where to say thanks properly but I am hugely indebted to you my N97 crashed after Software Update I had to do a hard reset and I didn’t make a backup all my contacts were lost but then i remembered it was only some days back that i had backed up my phone book to nimbuzz i restored it from their thanks
    Tip: This feature although very handy is not as publicised as other features of Nimbuzz.

  6. Nimbuzz is the best mobile messenger that i know, but for low profiled phone such us nokia6300 it’s really eating much resource :(
