Nexus One heading to India?
Yes, rumors have it that soon our fans in India will be able to use Nimbuzz on a brand new Nexus One.
Although there is not much info on this yet, we know that the Nexus One that will be available in India will not have all the features the US version. This one will be a stripped down version of the original device.
At the moment the Indian Smartphone arena is dominated by Nokia and BlackBerry, and the biggest challenge for Google will be to come out with a product that has enough features and a competitive price. Since the phone’s reputation is pretty big all around the world, all they need to do to make it a best seller is to find the perfect balance between the features they offer and price they ask for it.
As Vidyesh, from over at TNW remarks, with the 3G spectrum auction expected to start by April 2010, Google might just be onto a winner by introducing its Google maps navigation system just in time for the announcement.
Will be interesting to see if the Nexus one will land first in India or China, and if eventually will be also a version for Brazil. Also will the Nexus One China version will be the same as the India one, or will it be even more stripped down?
Now the question is: What do you think about Nexus One India specifications? Which will stay and which will go for the India edition?
