If you are in Amsterdam on March 29 or around here :) we would like to let you know that you can meet us at Brazil Means Business. This is an event where Brazilian and European entrepreneurs and investors will debate the growing interest in the emerging economy that signifies a huge market for web applications and Internet startups.

Dick van der Kwaak,  Nimbuzz VP of Business Operations will be present at the event and will talk about our experience in working with the Brazilian market so far. We have opened an office in Sao Paolo in 2008 and ever since we focused on PR and partnerships deals to enable Nimbuzz to become the best choice for all the Brazilian people.

So far, Marcelo (pictured below) our main man in Brazil has done a great job on positioning Nimbuzz as a top brand in Brazil. He did that by managing a brilliant blog, representing Nimbuzz at local events and spreading the word among the young Brazilian marketeers.

    am using nimbuzz with my Nokia N73 s.e but i have a problem,that my display pic can’t uploading when pic is begger than 100 kb,even i checked the setting too and 5 time re download nimbuzz too but problem is still remain nd i am so worry coz of this problem,what i do? Plz help me.
    Am submitting here this only as feedback,coz i have also checked FAQ but not found there abt this matter.
    Plz noted nd rectify this fault on priority base if is it your’s end problem.
    The 2nd request is that,that every buddy has this problem that when retrieving to check profile, buddy’s display pic not looking clearly.
    Plz do work as needfull on this matter too.

    Thanks for reporting this, could you let us know which Nimbuzz version are you using?
    Which client do you use?
    If you use Nimbuzz on Mobile, could you let us know which device, brand and model?
    In regards of your contact’s profile, are they also Nimbuzz contacts or from another IM community?

    For ur kind information i have Nokia N73 s.e which am using for nimbuzz.
    Country,pakistan.
    Nimbuzz version 2.02(0).
    Nimbuzz contact’s profile community also having problem of not looking clear pic by retrieving profile.

    brief info(country=pakistan,handset=nokia6680,network1=zong,network2=ufone,network3=mobilink)
    i was using nimbuzz version 2.2.0 on my cellphone before without any problem.But i upgraded my old nimbuzz to new one nimbuzz 2.3.0,and got to many problems.Some of those problems are mentions below:

    1. I got this error when i tried to sign in “max number of session exceeded.Please try again later.”
    2. After trying many times,if i’m able to sign in,then it’s fine until i enter any chatroom, using nimbuzz more than 5 minutes in any chatroom, makes stops recieving text in chatroom and also from other buddies in my list.And i needed to sign out and sign in again.
    3.And now from today i got another error message when i was trying to sign in
    “”Connection failed”
    change access point
    retry
    use nimbuzz web”
    so this way i can’t sign in my nimbuzz account anymore.

    According to my problem,more attached informations are that,here we don’t have 3g network,but we are using gprs/egprs,signals are good here,and i’m using all other internet based applications including live tv,all without any problem or issue.I also hard reset(formated)my handset but problem same exist.Kindly i need your detailed reply with solution.

    Thanks for your comment, and detailed explanation.
    See the answers to your mentioned issues:
    1. It can happen when you try to connect to some specific communities, like Skype or Facebook.
    When you receive this message, try to register those accounts later.
    2. Could you please be more specific?
    Are you not able to receive messages or does the application just get stuck there and crashes?
    When does it exactly happen?
    Some more information will be needed.
    3. Have you changed any internet settings of your devices?
    We recommend you to have a look to your APN /TCP settings and check if they are correct:

    According to your query,specific answer is below:
    1. i’ve not registered any other community i.e skype/facebook/yahoo etc.
    2. Application doesn’t stuck/crash.Just if i’m in any chatroom,after 5 minutes,it seems that no one is sending message in that room,same happen can’t get reply from buddies.At that that if i update my status message or try to search any chatroom or try to any room,it never complete.It’s only fixed if i sign out first then sign in again.
    3. My internet setting is same as i was using before,i didn’t changed anything.On this setting old version 2.2.0 was working pretty well.But new :(

    further question is that is old nimbuzz version 2.2.0 is still working?

    Please do not re-post your comments multiple times, this won’t help you to get an answer faster.
    Just to warn you if you keep posting your comments duplicated or triplicated we will mark them as spam.
    In regards of your comments:
    1. When do you exactly get that error message? After logging in to Nimbuzz? Could you please re-type the exact message again?
    2. Does that happen when you are in more than one chatroom at the time?
    3. If you are still using version 2.2 we recommend you to update to 2.4 and try again

    For technical reasons we do not provide older versions to our users.
    Could you let us know why do you want to use an old version?
