Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type: touchscreen and T9 combo. Why?
Last week we discussed the advantages of Touchscreen vs QWERTY vs T9 and which would be the best choice. As @cycnus very well observed in the comments, there’s a new concept from Nokia that should be included in our discussion, the Nokia x3 touchscreen and T9 combo.
I already had the chance to test the new Nokia X3
and I liked it.
It felt natural to switch between the keypad and the touchscreen. Typing on the keypad was pretty fast, which was proof that all the years I spent learning the keypad were still paying off
The keypad to me was still intuitive and comfortable to use.
When navigating trough the menu I touched the screen instinctively to confirm an action, not because I was prompted to. In other words it was very easy for me to adapt to the phone’s advantage of getting the best of both worlds.
The learning period was really short.
The X3 will be priced at $161 (125 Euros).
