5 Great iPhone apps to stay on top of your game
OK guys, time for another Top Apps post, this time about the 5 great iPhone apps that get me trough the day.
Since I got my new iPhone 4 I have downloaded and tried a lot (and I mean a lot) of apps, but after a few weeks a couple of winners emerged. And by winner I mean apps that I use multiple times every day!
My top 5 iPhone apps are:
- Foursquare - We play it daily at Nimbuzz and every department has it’s own venue where you can check in and, of course, I am the mayor of the Social Media Crib
. I try to keep up with my colleagues who are already pro-level with lots of mayor-ships and ridiculous amount of badges. Mostly I like the app because of the competition spirit and it’s really fun way to see where are your friends in real time pus I get tips on venues from trusted friends.
- Facebook - with almost 700 contacts only on Facebook, there is a lot of info I need to catch up with every day: new pictures, events, new relationships, general news and so on. When possible I always take a quick look on my News feed and having that on my mobile helps a lot.
- Nimbuzz - I see this app as my über communication console. All my chats, call, messages, files sending status updates need to go trough Nimbuzz. I love the fact that I am connected to all these communities from one place and I can see really quick who is online and what is he doing by reading the personal message. Also, because I am living abroad it helps me save A LOT of money on international calling, and the best part is that I use on the go, no need to be tied down to a computer.
- Google Reader – I am a news junkie. Every day I check my reader to see what new apps I should try, what new gadgets are out there and the blogs I follow. I like this app because it’s very organized and can access it seamlessly via my computer or iPhone. Also if I star something or marked it as unread I on the iPhone, I can pick it up later on my PC.
- Twitter - I use it for 2 main reasons. The first is to connect with friends and brands I like and follow the real time trends. The second one is to share personal opinions and RT wise tweets
.
How about you? What’s your top5 iPhone apps that you use every day?
