We said we will stay away from the blog, but we can’t .

We have a short announcement for our users with Java feature phones. Starting from 31 of  December 2010 until 11 of January 2011, if you want to connect to Facebook on Nimbuzz, you will be redirected to my.nimbuzz.com,  to login into your FB account via your computer. Once done your Facebook friends will show up on your mobile.

This is a temporary solution until we can integrate Facebook Connect into our app. Please bare with us.

Here is how Nimbuzz makes love survive the distance!

A few weeks ago we have received an inspiring story from one of our fans in Syria who told us how Nimbuzz made his long distance relationship possible.

Working in Kuwait and having a girlfriend in Syria could seem pretty hard at times, but not for Mohammed. Because he uses Nimbuzz on his mobile, he is always connected with his girlfriend and since he can call and chat for free he saved a lot of money for his honey moon .

We think this is a great story and very practical example on how Nimbuzz can help you to be there for your friends and family, no matter how far. Mohammed inspired us and stories like his make us proud and happy to be part of the Nimbuzz team.

Hello everyone,

we have an important announcement regarding the files you have stored on your Nimbuzz inbox.

As of January 1^st 2011, all received files in your inbox older than 6 months will be deleted. Since more than 80.000 users join every day, we need a lot of room to save files for everyone.

How to keep your files?

• Save them on your mobile phone
• Save them on your computer via the PC, Mac or Web

Hey everyone, quick update!

Tomorrow, 16 December 2010, at 12:00 CET we have scheduled another hour to upgrade the system. This means that there will be short period of downtime.

Please note that even though we might be offline for just a couple of minutes, you could still experience some hiccups with the Nimbuzz services throughout the week. Don’t panic, we’re on to it!

Since more than 80,000 new users join Nimbuzz every day we are constantly looking for new ways to improve the stability of our systems and make your experience super smooth .
