We wanted to let you know that we are taking a few days off so from the 27th December, 2010 to the 3rd of January, 2011 it will be pretty quiet on the blog .

No worries we will make sure to address all your comments and answer all your questions when we are back.

Hmm, does this mean that Nimbuzz will be down? Haven’t been able to sign in all day (Was gonna start using this to talk to a friend of mine in Syria (I’m in Sweden)).

We are aware that there might be issues connecting to Facebook from some mobile devices. Nimbuzz is working directly with Facebook on a solution for this problem. In the mean as a workaround you can register your Facebook account on my.nimbuzz.com on your computer. You can sign out ang go back to the application on your phone. Once you have registered Facebook there it will also work on your phone.

So… just a question, here in Syria we have been having troubles singing in and most of us”maybe all of us” couldn’t sign in, why? and how long will we stay offline???

could you be more specific on your query? which device &nimbuzz version do you use?
Do you get any error message? which one?when does it apppear?
which type of connection are you using?
Since when do you face this issue?

in fact connecting from Pc is done with some trubles but still cant connect from mobile phones
in syria we are using GPRS to connect using mobile phones ” syriatel – MTN syria ” and still having problems und unable to connect or sign in to nimbuzz
can u solve the problem plz or tell us what is going on ?

I’ve been trying to log in to nimbuzz since three days but it always try and fail and the message “connection failed!” and gives the options change access point or retry or use use nimbuzz web.
I’m using it from syria, my handset is nokia e66 and i use version 3.1 nimbuzz and i tried 3g sim and another gsm sim they both failed even though i used to access via both.
Please advice.
P.s.
All my friends who are nimbuzz users are suffering from the same issue.

Here in syria nimbuzz not work since afew days ago … we use GPRS connection
Me and all my friends now we use another programs … i use the latest version
and this problem occure with all the mobile phones such as sonyericsson and nokia
when i try to login by nimbuzz i see the loading messege “connecting… all inbox files older than 6 months will be deleted ….”
then i see connection failed and ask me to change access point or visit web messenger.
plz solve this problem

in syria we have syriatel and MTN syria as a mobile providers for internet the connection is GPRS

DATA-GPRS ” for syriatel
MTN-Internet ” for MTN syria ”
and for the pc most of people use modem dial-up connectio
and the rset use ADSL connection
and no i cant go to nimbuzz.com without using a proxy server from out of syria
i am now using brazil proxy ” 187.28.201.251:3128 ”
i`ll post the error messeges in another post

Dear nimbuzz team,
Warm greetings from syria.
The issue with nimbuzz here is not about the ISP, because i’ve tried all the internet brands in syria including syriatel 3g and gprs and mtn 3g and gprs, as well as the desktop nimbuzz via ADSL internet, and i tried many other handsets nothing helps.
I guess it’s something wrong with nimbuzz service because other applications are working probably such as fring and ebuddy and migg33 and all the other messengers.
Regarding nimbuzz website it’s working and i can access it from my handset. I hope this information helps

queralt why nimbuzz blocked from syrian gov. ? why nimbuzz only ? i think it’s because nimbuzz’s users can use voice calls.
look queralt facebook and youtube and nimbuzz blocked in syria but i can login to them by using opera mini for mobiles
i think opera mini contain internal proxy tech.
can you do some thing like this to overcome this problem.

in fact I tried wap.nimbuzz.com it worked but there is many troubles
-we can’t access to chat rooms
-some emotions couldn’t be used
-some times when I press refresh I am suddenly offline and have to login again
-and finally it is much more expensive this way cuz we pay money for data that our device sends or recieves and wap nimbuzz cost much more

Why nimbuzz banned the many usefull and needed tools option of jabber softwares? Those options are very usefull for us like invisible status option, seen online option and making stylish nicks in rooms etc etc these options are needed please activate these options in jabber softwares

We do not support the use of third party applications, if you do use a Jabber software to login to Nimbuzz and have some trouble, please check directly with the SUpport team of that program directly.

Thanks for nimbuzz company it’s the best massenger i ever had but syriatel company here just blocked your proxy I hope that the new versions of nimbuzz can deal with this kind of blocked to many friends are lost from different countries my account no longer can be login please take in your consider to change IP or proxy tech or any thing that makes us connect with you again by the way with call service i never have to dial from my GSM number again only by 3g thanks you are perfect

Ninbuzz,in Syria, is likely forbidden. Because we cannot access to it via phone browser, PC, Mtn Syria, or Syriatel.

Well as you can see Syria has banned Nimuzz just like they did for Skype I mean seriously WTF they don’t leave anything I mean they banned every blog plus Youtube Facebook I mean there could be more I am so pissed and sad they should ban copyrights and not these great social networks well all I want to say I am a big fan of Nimbuzz and lol Nimbuzz maybe may not know that nearly all of Syria uses there messenger so all I got to say is please nimbuzz try to get Nimbuzz back in to syria please do this asap I mean do what you can

i have a problem and need help plz
i was on yahoo messenger last nite and my webcam was on and i didnt on my cam since and in the morning i went online for few mins and left, i came back online in the afternoon and my wife was on nimbuzz and we talked for a while and suddenly she told me my cam was on while it was off and then 2 mins later she said my cam went off, is it possible its a problem from nimbuzz that happened and that it showed my webcam on and then off witout it ever being on

im from nepal,i m regular nimbuzz user .last week i had change the software of my mobile.i am using Nokia ( 5130 xpressmusic).after changing the new software ,it has seen a problem in logging in the nimbuzz.when i try to login then the following statement displays-” connection attempt to the nimbuzz service timed out please try again “with 3 options retry,check for update and exit.when i pres retry no change is seen,when i go through “check for update”.then “urgh, the connection attempt to the nimbuzz service failed” displays.
So plz help me in log in the nimbuzz.

Hi, it is me Justin again,I contacted and made a complaint at a Syrian website witch is a famous Syrian news website, where they at least give you a freedom of speech, but still at it’s lowest but anyways, I made a complaint at there complaint section so lets see how it goes and just to let the owners of Nimbuzz know, I really want Nimbuzz back in Syria so that my parents can use it and contact me for free.

Hello, I’m a new user and I installed Nimbuzz on IPhone4. The program works well, although sometimes with annoying echo, but the problem is that when I press the menu button of the iPhone, the program should not be in the background but it closes and disconnects … What I did not do correctly? Do you have the push notifications settings enabled?

We do not offer calling on Non Nokia Symbian devices like yours.
Reason is we use a Nokia library for the call feature which is not available on your device (since it is not Nokia branded).
