Because our previous post on best apps for Nokia E72 was really popular we decided to create an entire series to help you discover the best apps for your Nokia mobile.

Every week we will present you some of the best Nokia apps available for Symbian S60, and since there are quite a few, we will split the list into 10 categories.

Being chosen as one of the Best Nokia Apps by Ovi users and crowned Best Symbian App at the Getties Awards, Nimbuzz is without a doubt a must have for every Nokia phone… but what other cool apps are out there?

• Best Screen Snap – is a free app that allows you to capture screenshots on your Nokia smartphone and save them to a file or send them to friends or to your desktop computer. I use this app whenever I find an issue, to take a screenshot and share with the team , saves me a lot of time when I need to explain what exactly happened.

The new update brings a few small but useful features to improve your overall experience. Here is what’s new:

• Last time online: when opening a new chat with a Nimbuzz offline contact you will see next to their name the date when they were last seen online
• Fixed the empty contact list issue

After long discussions we decided that the music apps space is divided in 3 categories: Streaming music, creating music and discovering music.

Thanks to all of you who voted, Nimbuzz won the award for Best Mobile Instant Messaging app of 2011, with a smashing majority of 90% of all the votes!!

This is even more rewarding, since it’s the second year in a row that we have won the award for the Best Mobile IM .

On top of this, we also won the Best Mac IM and we are runner up in most all the categories we have been nominated in, such as Best IM of 2011 overall, Best Web Messenger and Best IM Developer.

Not that we like to brag but Nimbuzz is pretty awesome , and today we are all celebrating the International Day Of Awesomeness.

What started as small idea in the Summer of 2007, became international movement four years later and as you can see on Twitter there are a lot of awesome people out there.

The International Day of Awesomeness is a celebration of awesomeness. People are awesome every day, frequently don’t realize it, and their feats of awesomeness are rarely recognized. We aim to fix that, with a special day to both perform and celebrate feats of awesomeness!

The easiest way to celebrate The International Day of Awesomeness is to be awesome.

We chose to celebrate the #IDOA with a tip for when you are sad :D :
