Last week, we promised we will pick three of your questions and answer them on our blog. With over 740 questions, that wasn’t an easy task :P.
Without any further do, let’s see which were most frequently asked questions.
- What does Nimbuzz mean?
The dictionary meaning of Nimbuzz is “halo” – or “a shining cloud sometimes surrounding a deity when on earth”, a definition that fits our vision of “mobile freedom” very well.
Of course, Nimbuzz means so much more. For us Nimbuzz is the place where we can meet, share and connect with all our friends and we see Nimbuzz being the free call and messaging app for the connected generation.
- Why can’t I connect to Facebook on Nimbuzz?
If you have issues connecting to your Facebook account via Nimbuzz, there are 3 possible reasons:
-> You have an old version of Nimbuzz! To fix it, simply download the latest version from Nimbuzz.com.
-> You entered the wrong username/password. To fix it, please try to login again and pay attention to your login details.
-> There is known issue on the BlackBerry devices and we will fix it with the next version.
If none of the above applies to you, then you can send us an email , tell us exactly what goes wrong and we will get back to you.
- How to make free calls on Nimbuzz?
To make a free call using Nimbuzz, both you and the person you are calling need to have a Nimbuzz version that supports this feature. At the moment you can make free calls via Nimbuzz for Nokia Symbian S60 3rd and 5th generation, iPhone, Android, PC or Mac.
If you are using one of the above Nimbuzz apps, then you can go to your contact list -> select the person you want to call -> press call :P. Pretty simple :D.
For the moment we don’t offer calling for Java feature phones, Blackberry or Web.
