Nimbuzz Stories – From 0 to 700 friends in 3 years

 

Last week we have received great story from one of our fans. He told us how Nimbuzz helped him make a lot of new friends, when he moved from India to Japan.

Hello Nimbuzzers,

My name is Appy, I am 18 years old, I am originally from India and now living in Japan.

I discovered your application 3 years ago, when my informatics teacher told us about Nimbuzz in class. Ever since, the way I communicate and how I meet new friends, improved a 1000 times.

As you can imagine, living in another country can be hard at times, especially when you need to start from zero and you need to make new friends… but Nimbuzz helped me a lot getting over this!

Thanks to the Nimbuzz chat-rooms now I have well over 700 friends, with whom I share the happy moments and who help me get over the difficult ones.  It’s very easy to join a conversation in the chat-room, because everybody here is super friendly and we all love to chat. What I like the most is that anytime I login I can find someone online to chat with.

Three years after I started using Nimbuzz, I am proud say I have friends from over 20 different countries and I even meet my girlfriend thanks to Nimbuzz! Her name is Linda (♥♥♥), she is from Indonesia and we spend hours chatting until our battery
 dies.

Nimbuzz thank you for helping us to creating the perfect community, where we can meet, share and connect with so many wonderful people!

  1. Although I like nimbuzz so much , it wastes my time alot.
    So my iPhone scored an imagin No. Of online time on chatting in Nimbuzz , I was chatting 23 Hours daily !!!! It was going to make me fail in exams. So I promised not to use any mobile chat program since last year and finally I did :)
    Thanks God , now I’m not chatting alot although I’ve more than 3000 friend in my messenger :)

    I like Nimbuzz and NimbuzzOut too.
    But some of my friends don’t want to forget their skyp* account.
    The video-call service is the only one that I missing in it.. I hope this service will avalible soon on Nimbuzz.
    By the way Nimbuzz is an OutStanding app.

    Have you tried to login on http://wap.nimbuzz.com/wap/ register your FB account there and afterwards login on the Mobile app?
    Let us know if this works.

    But now I’ve got another question.
    I can’t place vocie session with my girlfiriend.
    She’s got a Vivaz Pro and I’ve got an N97 mini so both device has S60v5.
    Her Nimbuzz don’t do anthing if I calling her via Nimbuzz or Orkout or MSN.
    How can I resolve this issue?

  13. I’m guessing he used the chat rooms available on Nokia phones, since there are no chat rooms for android/iphone nb. Anyone else think they should add chat rooms for android/iphones, let me know. Thanks

    In order to gather your feedback and comments, could you write to us in English?

    We do not support Voice on Non Nokia Symbian devices like the one your girlfriend has.
    The reason si we use a Nokia library for the calling feature and this is missing on Non Nokia devices like hers.
    @Rink
    Chatrooms are available on Nimbuzz Mobile for Symbian and Java devices, not on Android, BlackBerry or iPhone.

    Unfortunately we do not offer chatrooms on iPhone but we will consider it to be implemented.

    Thanks for the info. However, I have heard that you can download im clients such as Jabber/ICQ to get chat rooms on them. If anyone knows how to do this, please contact me on Rinkesh621 (Nimbuzz , twitter, email at yahoo.com) all have same ID.
