Freebie Friday – Nimbuzz s60v5 Theme

As promised last week, we have designed a brand new fancy Nimbuzz theme for all our Nokia Symbian fans. You can get it from here.

To install it on your phone you can either transfer it via Bluetooth or via the Nokia PC Suite. Once installed you can activate it from Themes menu.

Hope you will like it!

On your phone go to MENU- TOOLS – APPLICATION MANAGER. Check your setting by going to OPTIONS – SETTINGS and your will see Software Certification, set this to ALL if it isn’t already set. And if you also see the option ONLINE CERT CHECK set it to off.
Now make sure your phone date is correct. As the latest Nimbuzz was released about 2-3 weeks ago if your phone date is earlier then 3weeks ago you will get a certification error telling you to check your phone date or something like that.
So just be sure your phone date is correct and that you downloaded the most recent version of Nimbuzz.

If not, you can also use teh Wap version directly on your phone browser going to wap.nimbuzz.com

when i use this theme with jbak task manager, i cannot see texts on menus.. And i use s60v3 but, this theme is brings my phone to classic view… but i like this theme.. It’s good if make better this more than now… Think about icon pack too..

This theme is for S60v5 it might work on S60v3 but we cannot guarantee that it will display properly on all Menu’s.

The New version is indeed great. Hard to spot a bug.:)
Thanx for this version.
I wanted to know if Nimbuzz plan future feature for chatrooms, like sorting room by language or category.
Another thing is that, i still get this verify message when i chat in chatrooms even though i had my number verified so many times.

In regards of chatrooms, it is expected behavior that you get that warning message about the phone number verification it will just disappear once it is mandatory for all users (and you have it registered and verified).

Hey, my friends requests are not showing properly..
When i sign in, i can see a notification that i have many friends requests.. But, when i go to friends requests tab, i cannot see them..
I don’t know this is a bug or my fault.. I use nimbuzz s60v3

From what community are these friend requests ? From Nimbuzz itself or from another community ?
Could you tell us which device, type of connection and the number of Nimbuzz version are you using ? Do you receive an error message ? If so, what does this error message say? In which country are you located ?

This is designed to be a 5th edition theme, are you using a 5th edition phone ?
Even though its not signed, it should work fine, make sure you are installing the right theme for your phone.

Your device uses S40 opertaing system, this them is for S60 devices.
We will consider providing Themes for other operating systems as well.

Yes, it is compatible.
Note once it gets downloaded you have to apply those canges on your device settings so it works.
