New: Nimbuzz for Java phones gets access to N-World and message delivery notifications

The latest Nimbuzz update for Java enabled featurephones comes with a great set of features that will enable you to get more out of your phone. You can get the new version from Nimbuzz.com.

Here is what’s new:

  • Message Delivery Notifications will display checkmarks when your message arrives on your friend’s phone.
  • Access to free avatars and bots via N-World.
  • Clickable links inside the chat screen
  • New way to insert emoticons : Open a chat -> Menu -> Insert emoticon -> Enjoy :P

    If you are not able to find your device listed on Nimbuzz Download site, your device might not be supported.

    Once you are on Nworld, select Games and a list of categories will display. In each category you will find games available for your device.

    When after register my facebook to chat i got an error message “your phone doesn’t have enough memory” error in: HTTPconnectionHandler….

Queralt, 1 more thing the ids are getting blocked or corrupted when we are login through bombus jabber clients its says login failed, after that when we login through nimbuzz the msg comes like that password and username wrong…. Before it was not happening like this problem… So i want to know… is nimbuzz is banning use of bombus jabber clients…. Or its a some kind of technical problem which u peoples going to sort out? Coz some peoples find easy to chat on bombus jabber clients so please clarify us….

    One of the main reasons for the “not enough memory” error is that you have too many contacts for your device to handle it… let’s say more than 800 or 1000 in total in your Nimbuzz contact list.

    I got same problem like Ashley, i cannot access my nimbuzz account Oxygen02. It gives me invalid username or password. I did check, again and again. But still same error. I did email support, and still cannot access to my account. So i made a new account and waiting for the old one to be recovered.

    Yes. For example, if you have 500 contacts in your Nimbuzz contact list (from different communities), and then you try to add another community where you have 500 contacts, then you’ll end up with 1000 contacts in your Nimbuzz contact list.
    It depends on the phone the amount of contacts that can handle. If the phone is not “powerful” enough, it might give you and error as the one you had.
    In this case please try using the Wap version of Nimbuzz Queralt just mentioned.

Hi admin… I want to take ur attention to a very serious matter… Some flooders are sending me flood messages continusely without adding any ids in my friendlist… The messages are very long and abusive… So thats why i am getting disconect from my id… Please look into the matter and ban private flooding to the ids….     Please update your MicroMax version following the instructions:
    1) Downloaded latest version from get.nimbuzz.com for your phone
    2) Open the .jar file using WinRAR
    3) Open META INF folder and extract the text file on my location. Open this file in notepad
    4) In this file rename the Midlet Name to ‘Nimbuzz 2′
    5) Add this file in .jar file in WinRAR
    6) Copy this jar file on the mobile and install it

    If you get “not enough memory” as an error, this might be cause some devices like yours sometimes do not have enough hip memory to run or support Nimbuzz application.

    Try the wap version which will allow you to chat with your buddies.

    We found out that some users can be blocked by the community beacuse of a big number of login attempts in a short periode of time.
    Yahoo! blocks the user temporarily that exceeded the login attempt limit, then after a period of time those get unblocked. When you receive this error message try directly to login with Yahoo! itself and check if your account is still active. This doesn’t count for the web-version of Yahoo!

  69. I’m using Samsung Star (GT S5233S) and is using Nimbuzz for last one year. The touch options were there while I was using the older version. But after installing the latest version, Nimbuzz is functioning just as in any other handset without Touch screen facility. Earlier I could have touched the desired contact to select it and with a long touch, I could open the menu. But now it need to scroll down to select a contact and press the ‘SELECT’ key to open it. Isn’t there any separate version for the touch screen handsets now? Please send me reply to my mail ID also.

    Calling is supported on Nokia Symbian S60 3rd and 5th generation; Android and iPhone.

When I try to add any new person, he/she accept my add request but my add request showing pending and when I delete them and again add him/her then account added. And when I delete any account from my contact list, the account deleted from my contact list but other side still showing to added in his/her contact list.     If you removed your files from the online gallry, there is no possibility we can retrieve those.
    If you remove a contact from your list, (if it is a Nimbuzz contact) you will have to mannually re-add this person and wait till the other person accepts your friend request; if that person does not add you it will remain on your list with a question mark.
    To remove a non Nimbuzz contact from your list, we recommend you to do it directly from the IM client itself from that community.

    If you get “not enough memory” or “java error”as an error, this might be cause some devices like yours sometimes do not have enough memory to run or support Nimbuzz application.
    we recommend you to use the Wap version directly on your phone browser going to wap.nimbuzz.com

    We do not offer a ignore or block feature, but you can remove a contact.
    We currently only support the option to delete Nimbuzz contacts. If your contact is a Nimbuzz buddy please click on the buddy name and choose delete.

    If this is a buddy from another IM community you will need to delete the buddy on the community itself first, and after it the contact will be removed from your Nimbuzz contact list.

    Because your version is a pre install, you will not be able to upgrade it. But we are looking into a permanent solution for this.

    As a workaround (for advanced users), you can try the following steps:

    1) Downloaded latest version from get.nimbuzz.com for your phone
    2) Open the .jar file using WinRAR
    3) Open META INF folder and extract the text file on my location. Open this file in notepad
    4) In this file rename the Midlet Name to ‘Nimbuzz 2′
    5) Add this file in .jar file in WinRAR
    6) Copy this jar file on the mobile and install it

    Just you or another contact/friend with access to your account credentials might have removed your account.

    Once an account is removed, it is no longer possible to reactivate, neither re-create (meaning create a new account with the same username).
