New Nimbuzz 1.9.6 for Java phones: Get it now!

As of today, a new and improved Nimbuzz version (1.9.6) for Java enabled mobiles is available on our website. You can get it here or can visit http://get.nimbuzz.com from your mobile browser.

There seems to be a bug. I can’t get the actual chat to work. Double tapping a name and accessing the ‘start chat’ menu doesn’t work, neither for contacts nor bots. On a Samsung S8000 Jet.

Dude you guys have removed sending file option. can’t even upload display picture using files on mobile. please make sure you add this feature.

I HAVE SAME PROBLEM- Double tapping a name and accessing the ‘start chat’ menu doesn’t work, neither for contacts nor bots. my phone is Samsung WAVE S8500. will you fix that problem?

@Atif – Your device is using a Java version of Nimbuzz which does not include the calling feature. Due to current technical limitations we do not support VOIP calling on Java based devices like yours. Calling is only supported on Symbian, Android, iphone and PC

After updating to nimbuzz ver 1.9.6 wheneva i scroll down on my samsung chat 527 in nimbuzz it keeps on scrolling up n down. it doesn’t stop tried everything.. but works after closing and again restarting , then same prob starts.

@clinton – The Java phone require the Heap memory in order to run the Java application on the phone. You can try a few things to enhance its performance
- Remove a few Java application from the device in order to create the Heap memory which is required for Nimbuzz to run
- If the number of friends in your contact list are very high, please reduce the number of friends as the heap memory expands when the contacts are added.
