We are happy to roll out a new update for our Symbian users.

This version introduces a close integration of ‘Friend Search’ functionality within the Nimbuzz app. Now you can search for your friends in the 100 million strong Nimbuzz community worldwide with just a click of a button. Search Explore and Expand your friend network on Nimbuzz.

Friend Search on Nimbuzz – Nimbuzz is all about connecting you with your friends & family. Now you can expand your friend circle by actually searching through 110 million Nimbuzz profiles. Simply enter your friend’s name, hit Search to list down all matching profiles and add them as your friend to start chatting & calling them for free!

Twitter Improvements – We know that many of our users love to use Twitter from Nimbuzz and therefore we have brought Twitter upfront on Nimbuzz dashboard enabling quick and easy access. We have also fixed a couple of issues in ReTweet functionality for a better Tweeting experience.

UI Improvements –

Coloured Chat Tabs for Symbian touch devices.
Emoticons grid
Easy access to Chatrooms from Dashboard
Easy access to Twitter from Dashboard
Add contact flow simplified

Certificate Error issue resolved – Some of our users complained about not being able to install Nimbuzz on their devices. This was due to a security certificate from Nokia which expired on 20th Oct 2012. This update fixes this problem and carries an updated security certificate from Nokia.

hello nimbuzz master …. Still there is a problem in this new update which is not resolved. The problem is that:
-still we are not able to send and receive direct messages on twitter. Kindly resolve it as soon as possible.

@Mr. Chips – Thanks for your request. However, this is a limitation of twitter itself. You cannot send DM to people whom who are not following or being followed by. This behaviour is same from twitter app on any device or directly on twitter.com.

Sorry, I didn’t mean the tabs. I mean the mentions in Twitter constantly get updated as if they were new ones and no chance of reading those mentions because on opening them the Nimbuzz 3.5 just closes.

Thanks for your interest, Video Calling is only supported on Nimbuzz PC version 2.4 and iPhone 2.5.2 It is on our roadmap, to provide this feature to other platforms as well, but unfortunately we cannot provide you with a fix date for it to be implemented. @nimbuzz, what about E.series It still do not work with apps like frings and for that i use an old version of nimbuz 3.02 but still there is problem in that ,when i call my friends my voice is audible to them but when they call me none of us is able to hear each others voice ,kindly solve it.

@afjal khan – VoIpAudioSrv for Nimbuzz comes with version 1.00 and the other social network applications like Skype in your case comes with VoIpAudioSrv Version 2.0.
The problem with it is If you install some other app at first time and Nimbuzz after that, Nimbuzz works without any problem and other app troubles without audio.
In other words Nimbuzz doesn’t work efficiently if you have any other IM’s installed on your device since, there is a compatibility mismatch along with other IM applications.

Hello, I have the application Nimbuzz version 3.4.0 (5337) on a Nokia N8 Symbian ^ 3 s (nice refresh). Check for any new update where new version of the application, I go: About Nimbuzz then check for updates and it tells me “your version of Nimbuzz is updated! No, my version of Nimbuzz n is not updated since, I have the 3.4.0 version and the new version 3.5.0 is available! My question: why the application does not update ?

nimbuzz team you must should remove the blocking system of ids.because an id is identity of some one you must introduce blocking system on room chat, call, add contacts like that not like this type of blocking

If you block the contact, the blocked person can’t able to send you the add request frequently….
More over you can avoid unwanted private chat from chatrooms by “Ignore” option which is available in symbian client..!!

I’m using nimbuzz on my n72 symbian s60v2. I used ver 3.04 and the latest 3.50, but the problem is that i’m unable to download voicemails. I can just play them but i am unable to save the voicemails on my device to listen ‘em later. Moreover if i restart nimbuzz, it shows me no voicemail received! Help plz.

@lashkri – A private chatroom automatically gets deleted if the room remains inactive for 12 hours. Group Chat is very much active on the latest version of Symbian. You can view the group chat icon on the home screen of Nimbuzz. Thanks!!
