Hey Nimbuzzers!
We are happy to roll out a new version (2.5.0) for our PC users and now available for download. If you want to try it out you can get it right away from http://www.nimbuzz.com

The new Nimbuzz for PC comes with below useful features & improvements:
- Recent Chat Window
- Bug fixes & Improvements.

Here is a detailed description of the new features in the Nimbuzz Messenger 2.5.0:

Recent Chat Window: Now access your recent chats & history from same window which will list your top 50 recent chats with friends.

Bug Fixes and Improvements: New version has several bug fixes which includes fix for status/presence issue with overall performance improvements in PC client.

I wish is if they could give an option to make the Font Text bigger because it is too small for my eyes. Otherwise great software, performs well.

@John – Thanks for your interest, Video Calling is supported on Nimbuzz PC version 2.5.0 and iPhone 2.5.2. It is on our roadmap, to provide this feature to other platforms as well, but unfortunately we cannot provide you with a fix date for it to be implemented. How do you turn off the recent chats in the new download? It’s very annoying. I have no need for that. Also there are ads at the bottom so how do I remove them. Thanks

There is bug on your pc application that when somebody is online pop up window prompt that the user is online and repeat it over and over again did anybody else have this problem? or it’s just me!!!

please put a feature where we can access out chat history anytime anywhere..this will be great because i use my phone at home and office pc at work…so i dont lose track of conversations just like they do with yahoo messenger..thanks! more power!

i have a question.
when im at work, messengers are blocked so i need to use a proxy…so how can i set a proxy on nimbuzz?
if its not possible can you please add proxy settings in next version?!

@shuvo – If your contact is a Nimbuzz buddy please click on the buddy name and choose delete. If this is a buddy from another IM community you will need to delete the buddy on the community itself first, and after it the contact will be removed from your Nimbuzz contact list. Thanks!!

@nimbuzz i have a problem with my arabic ID , i have been using my arabic ID for a while now , n i purchased nimbuzz credits to using it to call friends in other countries and some how my ID got blocked or hacked or whatever , n there is still credit in it !!! what should i do !!! should i contact you with my credit card number and the ID !!

@nana – If you put your account on invisible mode on PC, you will still appear online on facebook. However, there is an additional option available in mobile wherein, you can separately select offline status for facebook too. Thanks!!

Hi ,

Iam a nimbuzz user over the past 3 years.
(Nimbuzz id :s_vipin).
I like the new nimbuzz version 2.5.1 rev 7c873ce. But i felt some issues on that. In the new IM version when i opened the chat window an additioanl add-on nimbuzz window to be displayed. I want to disable that add-on window,but i cant find any option. Please do the needful and reply as soon as possible.

Hi,

I am happy with Nimbuzz. I have one suggestion. When we click on on the close button it gets minimized to the PC task bar. Sometimes we don’t want it in our task bar rather it can be running in the System Tray like any other messenger. That option should be given to the user to do what he wants and where he wants Nimbuzz to be running.

@Irfan – Sometimes when Yahoo server is not able to identify the credentials entered by you and it redirects you to Nimbuzz with an error. There is nothing much we can do about the same. However, we have been working constantly with Yahoo to resolve this issue at the earliest.

@poko – To be able to install it successfully, you need to login as administrator with all the required rights. If you’re just a user of the PC you won’t be able to install it. If yes, Kindly get in touch with your PC support.

i can and him send both messages ;the problem happen when we try to call;niether me or him trying to start a call will hear any thin
