In the meantime, please go ahead and use the high quality Nimbuzz to Nimbuzz calling for totally free all over the world.  Need to reach mobile phones and landlines?  Use NimbuzzOut for incredibly cheap international calls.

Also make sure to give the free file sharing a try if you haven’t done so already.  People are always happy to get a picture from you :)

Nimbuzz for the Apple iPad

YouTube Preview Image

Since the iPad has been released last Saturday there has been a lot of noise around the latest member of the Apple family.

With the current version of Nimbuzz working just great for the iPad (see above video), we wanted to give you a quick update on the status of our iPad specific version of Nimbuzz.

Releasing an early version which we weren’t able to test ourselves in real life wasn’t an option for us.  We want to make sure that when we release our iPad app, it is exactly what you guys want, and everything it should be.

With an actual iPad now in hand we’ll be able to tailor a brilliant Nimbuzz experience for you guys so you can enjoy the best IM and VoIP on the iPad with free calls, chat, and file sharing.

Until then, check out some of the video footage of the official iPad launch filmed by our US team, who were at the Apple flagship store in San Francisco.

Bridging the 3G VoIP gap on the iPhone: instant messaging and VoIP deluxe

March 19th, 2009

We have just released our new iPhone version of Nimbuzz to bridge the 3G VoIP gap, and also turn the iPod Touch into an iPhone.

With free Wi-Fi calls to instant messaging buddies already available, we have added a full dial-pad, and the ability to make VoIP calls to landlines and mobile phones at significantly reduced rates with NimbuzzOut, and via our 10 VoIP partners including Gizmo5, Vyke, sipgate and A1.

Turn your iPod Touch into an iPhone! Make calls over Wi-Fi via NimbuzzOut or via your VoIP provider. You can even see the available NimbuzzOut credit you have directly on the dial pad! Just use the Apple headset with a microphone.

If Wi-Fi is unavailable you can make VoIP calls to Nimbuzz buddies using Nimbuzz Dial-Up VoIP in over 50 countries.

P.S.: We are experimenting with Twitter, and you can post to Twitter via the Personal Message feature! Try it. Your comments are always welcome, so please feel free to give feedback.
