In just two days after we asked you to show us where you use Nimbuzz the most we received over 150 pictures from all over the world. Each picture told a unique story and gave us a good idea on why and how you use our app.

Thank you all very much for participating!

After we posted the photos on Facebook we invited everybody to vote with a “like” and today we have the final results.

The winner of our contest is Mohamed Azam, from Saudi Arabia. He got the most likes (172) and you can check his picture  here (+ link to the photo album).

We are really curious to see where and when you use Nimbuzz to chat and call with your friends.  Is it while waiting for the bus, at school or on your way home?

How does it work?

• Snap a picture with your mobile phone to show us where you use Nimbuzz the most
• Send it to contest@nimbuzz.com
• Add your name, Nimbuzz username,  country and a short description of the place where you use Nimbuzz the most, like:  “I use Nimbuzz at school to chat with my colleagues ”
• We will select 10 photos and upload them on our Facebook page
• Then we will invite all our fans to like their favorite picture
• The picture with the most likes wins!

What can you win?

You can win a free NimbuzzOut voucher that will add $10 to your account. This will give you up to 2 hours of  international calls to  mobile phone number and landlines.

This is also a good opportunity to show the world your photography skills since your photo will be shared with over 400.000 Nimbuzz fans .

What are we looking for?

• Original pictures made with your mobile phone (not digital camera).
• The picture should show us the place where you use Nimbuzz the most.
• Don’t use any effects/apps that will erase the EXIF info of the picture

Hello guys and girls! We are back and we hope that you had a great start in 2011 !

We are ambitious this year and as our first challenge we want to win the the 2011 Readers’ Choice Awards on About.com. For that we would need your help.

Before announcing the winner we would like to thank you all for taking the Nimbuzz survey. The response rate was awesome and from a total of over 50.000 responses from almost all the countries in the world we have learned a lot about what you think of Nimbuzz and how we can make it even better. The Nimbuzz EmotiContest is over and we have a winner: Nemanja Djurdjevic with the “jawdropping” emoticon! He is the new proud owner of the Nokia 5800. Congratulations!!

With more than 60 entries and a lot more than 100 emoticons, it was a pretty hard job for our design team to pick the winner from all the good designs that were submitted.

The team have picked Nemanja considering:

• the quality of the design
• if it’s a new emoticon, not a variation of the ones we already have
• how good it expresses a feeling
• how good it fits the Nimbuzz Emoticons style

We really hope the Nemanja will send us a picture with him and his new phone, so we can all see who is the creator of jawdropping emoticon.
