Hey guys, Tabbed chatting is back on the latest Nimbuzz Symbian 3.3.1 which is now available to download. We had updated our Nimbuzz Symbian to 3.3 last month and introduced a lot of new features.

One of the first things I’m sure you will notice is the beautifully redesigned Home Screen. We made the icons bigger and rearranged them in grid view so you can access the most important functions with a single touch. Even more exciting is that we added three new icons to the list: Recent Chats, N-World and Groupchat

In just two days after we asked you to show us where you use Nimbuzz the most we received over 150 pictures from all over the world. Each picture told a unique story and gave us a good idea on why and how you use our app.

After we posted the photos on Facebook we invited everybody to vote with a “like” and today we have the final results.

This was a very special 1^st of October for our Nimbuzz fans in Vadodara because they had the opportunity to meet face to face the people that decide upon the future of Nimbuzz.

You might not own a smartphone but with Nimbuzz it sure feels like your phone is smarter! Thanks to the new Nimbuzz bots, you can get the latest cricket news, see your daily astrology predictions or tweet without ever closing your Nimbuzz app and all that … with minimal data usage! Pretty awesome, right?  :D

How can you add Nimbuzz bots?

That’s easy. Simply look for N-World in your Nimbuzz app and go the “Bots” section. Here you will find:

• Astrology bot – to see how your day will be based on daily astrological predictions
• Cricket bot – to get the latest scores of your favorite Cricket team
• Twitter Bot – to tweet right from within the chat window
• Jimmy Testbot – to have funny conversations and test your mobile internet connection

We have upgraded our popular friend suggestions feature to be even more awesome and easy to use. This was a server side update so if you are using the latest Nimbuzz mobile version you already have it (no download needed) .

As you already know the friend suggestions feature detects which of your phone contacts are already using Nimbuzz. The new update will automatically add them to your Nimbuzz contact list so you can call and chat with your friends for free instead of paying for operator minutes and SMS text messages.

We have also improved the phone number matching algorithm for better phone number(s) recognition in international and national format. . This will increase the chances of finding new Nimbuzzers in your phonebook.

Any of the suggested contacts can be manually deleted if necessary and they won’t be suggested again (yes, in case you change your mind you can add them again manually ).

We hope you will enjoy this feature and as always we are glad to hear your feedback.

We know that besides chatting all day with your Nimbuzz friends you are also very active on forums . Because of that we designed 6 userbars you can use as your signature whenever you post a message on a forum. Here is an example.

How to use a userbar?

To use it simply add this piece of code:  [IMG]“Usebar URL goes here “[/IMG] in your Forum signature and it will appear at the end of your every post .

You can either download the images and upload somewhere else (like Flick or Picasa) and use that URL in your code, or use with the code we provide below . To download them you can right click and save them.

Last week we asked on our Facebook page, how you would describe Nimbuzz in just three words.

Over 1,200 replies later we decided to create a word cloud, so everybody can see the answer trough your eyes. The bigger the word in the image above the more times it was mentioned by you guys.

We must say, it’s truly fascinating to see Nimbuzz from your point of view and and to see that most of you use words like Best, Love, Great, Amazing, Fantastic, Friends, Easy,Cool,  Nice to describe our app and the chat experience.
