As you might know, a few days ago Nokia released one of the hottest new mobile phones out there: the Nokia N97.

Good news for iPhone and iPod touch users: we just launched an update of Nimbuzz [Download Nimbuzz ].

You can watch the video demo HERE.

Here are the new features:

• Use your camera to update your display picture, or choose from your camera roll.
• See the avatars of your buddies.
• Auto-rotate feature, let’s you stay in landscape mode chat with wide screen keyboard.

We also fixed a few bugs, which is always good

As you might have heard, Windows 7 Release Candidate 1 is out and tech blogs are writing about the new features, fast response time, and slick interface of this new Windows OS.

After reading all these articles I decided to see for myself how do I get along with Windows 7 and also I was really curious to see how Nimbuzz for the PC [Download Nimbuzz PC now] runs on it.

After 30 minutes of intense testing I was really happy about the new O.S and Nimbuzz. Both worked very nicely together, and I think this a perfect match.

One important advantage of having Nimbuzz on your phone is that you can use the Location Sharing feature to keep in touch with your family and friends in real time.

Sure, we all love to talk, chat and message for free using Nimbuzz, but the location feature takes us one step further bringing us closer to dear ones. No need to have a scheduled meeting to enjoy a coffee with a friend, just go through your mobile Nimbuzz buddies that are online, and see who is closer to you by retrieving their location.

The Nimbuzz Location Sharing feature is also great for worried parents. You want to know where your “little one” is? Well … just go in to your contact list and retrieve his location on the map. He is not online? No problem just send him a Buzz to get him on line. It’s as easy as that.

At times, we can all sympathize with the author, Danielle Steel’s quote, “It’s hard being visible, so I’ve made myself invisible.” In case you ever want to be there (from a distance), and just observe, Nimbuzz understands.

With the new “Appear Offline/Invisible” login option, your status will be changed to offline/away automatically, without any extra clicking.

You asked. We listened, and added Arabic language support to Nimbuzz Mobile for Symbian phones!

If you have Arabic as a default language on your Symbian mobile phone you can update Nimbuzz and it will automatically install in Arabic, complete with text displayed from right to left.

As this is our first try with Arabic language support, we would like to get your feedback. Please leave a comment below and tell us what you think?

December was a good month for Apple and iPod touch. According to the latest AdMob
metrics report: “Worldwide iPod Touch traffic increased 2.4 times in the 7 days after Christmas compared to the 7 days before. In the US and UK, requests were 2.7 and 3.2 times higher after Christmas”.

Your Orkut friends love you, so let them reach you for free!

Add the Nimbuzz Communicator app to your Orkut profile so your friends can interact with you for free – no matter where you are.

To add Nimbuzz click “Add Apps” in the left sidebar on Orkut, and search for “Nimbuzz”.

Make sure you installed Nimbuzz Mobile or Nimbuzz PC, and your friends can call, chat and message you directly on your mobile phone or computer.They can also send you voice messages, photos, music and videos – for free!
